I always struggle with staying on topic and keeping my papers clear and concise, different points and topics just jumble around my head like alphabet soup lol. Thank you so much. Watching this video helped me develop a good outline for my research paper and also find good sources. Now I feel confident completing my assignment. I finished up my fall semester with an "I" letter grade because I did not complete an assignment. My professor gave me 3 months to complete and submit it. Two months have gone by and I haven't done a thing, because I was unsure of what I was doing. But thanks to this video, I gained confidence and completed in a few hours a very important part of the work that has been keeping me from doing a good job: finding good sources and creating a strong outline. I was too late to apply for scholarships and ultimately saw Oxford as a necessary investment to get into a top-tier US PhD program. It was a big gamble but I am confident I can pay it off and am glad to say that it was hugely helpful when I applied for PhDs. I don’t think I would have gotten into Yale without it. Thank you so much for your kindness and your thoughtful comment! My fingers are crossed for your and your grad school plans 💕💕 as for the finances, I took out a loan for Oxford. I was too late to apply for scholarships and ultimately saw Oxford as a necessary investment to get into a top-tier US PhD program. It was a big gamble but I am confident I can pay it off and am glad to say that it was hugely helpful when I applied for PhDs. I don’t think I would have gotten into Yale without it. If you need help looking into scholarships though, I’d be happy to help!

Since you study history and African American studies, I was wondering if you’ve ever read Christopher Lebron’s ‘Equality from a Human Point of View’.
I haven’t come across it for my research or coursework so far but thank you for the recommendation! I’ll check it out 💕💕💕
TheRedHeadAcademic it’s a great read. In short, Lebron considers James Baldwin’s complaints of democratic distance and dissatisfaction to propose a method of empathy to resolve these issues. It’s more of a philosophy essay. Also, maybe you’re already working on this, but it’d great to see dedicated videos of your LSAT journey. I’m going in to my junior year and am about to start studying to!

Many colleges bombard students with multiple homework projects with tight deadlines, probably not caring how they’ll complete them. Unfortunately, these assignments have a bearing on our grades, so we’re expected to give our best and finish them before the due date. In my case, I have a job and kids to take care of. very helpful tips! I am just curious as to roughly how long you would take with reading, then compiling all your notes and whether you had a strategy for this? ( im a keen returnee student wanting to go back to complete my Masters, due to personal reasons I had to take a step back), but I am trying to build my confidence....also (you are quite intelligent I can see) just wondered how you manage to think of the resources and understanding where to look when it comes to research :)
