- The day is finally here! San Antonio now has its own Round1 Arcade! Its been in the works for awhile but South Texas now has a new arcade to check out. If you're not aware already, Round1 is the same arcade we went to alot while we were in Japan! They have alot of UFO catchers, claw machines or crane games, rhythm games and of course, COIN PUSHERS! It's always nice to see new arcades being opened. This one is wide and bright. I love it when it's those wide halls and not cramped in... There are so many different games and still enough space to walk around without bumping into other people...
definitely going! its only an hour away from me and now I dont have to make a trip to Dallas which is even further!
I know the joy of entering a Round1 on opening day. I still remember March 23, 2019 as I entered the Holyoke Mall (HYM), Massachusetts location and seeing real games for every taste. I am fine with ticket and prize games, but I am a fighting (mostly Street Fighter and Marvel vs Capcom), and rhythm games (mostly Dance Dance Revolution) player.
I still remember walking a night in June 2019 with a Pioneer DJ DDJ-SB3 controller, and it cost me less than $160 to win a $250 controller. I still love my Round1

We were so excited to be able to go to round1 we were planning on going to the one in Dallas before knowing of the one here in San Antonio. So we counted down the months for this opening. We went to the soft opening which was the day before the grand opening and it was amazing my kids and I enjoyed it went home with bags of plushies and prizes 😊❤

They do! They have Beatmania IIDX (Last time I went it was running IIDX 31 Epolis, but I think it's Pinky Crush now), Sound Voltex Exceed Gear, DDR World (Last time I went it was A3), Gitadora, Groove Coaster, Chunithm and more

Shameless settings for opening day by the owners. Two to three plays per win? Not fun to watch the unrealistic gaming. Normal settings would have been just as fun to see, even for content creation.
