Odoo is actually cheaper if you are using more than one app - you get over 80 applications for the same price. The difference is if you have more than one user, it will cost more for Odoo. Important distinction.
@@tangodown2721 I think you're mixing enterprsie with community. In enterprise u pay for users licenes + hosting, while community you can only have it self hosted for free.
You compared the prices for a single user. odoo charges you PER USER. So the larger the company gets, the more you want to use something else, not the other way round. Also, open source odoo is very limited. Many essential apps are only available, when you pay.

Useless tutorials , when people compare software , you need to test it and not just read the online pricing of it... waste of time
You realise that’s for cloud right? Both of them can be self hosted.
Only a small subset of the odoo apps are open sourced. So they promise a lot and then you realize, what you're missing.
