      I think EU deployment is many years away. Tesla will focus on USA and China.
      In the US Tesla has had the benefit of an extensive beta testing program to help them develop their product and that whole exercise would need repeating in each market. Getting regulatory approval for that approach will be a big deal in the EU.

      @EwanM11 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@DerekDavis213 i expect it will, but will need training in the local driving practices by local drivers using a lot of video from local drives and then it will need tweaking to get rid of common mistakes as they occur. They will have a lot of that video already, but it will take time for each local deployment. And you'll need Tesla staff to go and train edge cases which are special to that country. And then there will be loads of testing to make sure it hasn't adopted any unsafe behaviours which have slipped into the training data. This is a lot of work, so Tesla will only deploy in countries with big market opportunities, i.e they sold a lot of cars already.

      V12 is a new build and is entirely different from v11, as it is based on neural nets and not heuristics. Thus it has had to retrain from the start. One advantage of v12, however, is that it learns at a much faster rate than v11. It has already overtaken v11 in a fraction of the time. But remember, this is the real world, with countless scenarios to be mastered. I personally believe v12 will show noticeable improvement every 3 months or so.

That's kind of a type of training that has nothing to do with FSD intrinsically, which is exciting and slightly worrisome. Exciting in that i think it would be easy to specifically train for, and we probably already have the AI capability to do such pretty easily, worrisome in that perhaps integrating it into the neural net could cause some friction as opposed to seemingly just raw "good driving" data without any coding of human rules.

    Mazda SkyactiveER extended range has an internally built battery charger that self charges on the road from initial 85km to extended 600km without need to plug into an external charging kiosk! Seems tsla ev innovation is losing to competitors n has been immersing itself in own echo chamber? Discount the Chinese n Japanese at its own perils!

    Dave you are to nervous. You hold the wheel. You have to give a little. That is why they have to do this slowly. People not used to will have problems letting go.

    It's so obvious how accidents would be reduced if AI takes over. No more lane hogs, no more slow pokes.
    At 8:30 That really infuriates me. I've seen in it many videos. People go "Oh my god it has stopped, I am going to disengage!" and disengage. Give the car the time it needs )or WE need) to make a decision!! Jeez! We'd like to see how it gets out of there.
    Imagine if scientist, when running an experiement, they always wen't "oh my god something we don't expect is happening... stop the experiemnt!". Bah!

    Please Dave keep your hands off the wheel - it so looks like your driving a lot of times. You only need to touch the wheel once in a while to let it know you are paying attention. All the haters will say you drive the car :) - Good job though, Thanks
