It's more like that it's fun being 20 because you are at the peak of your physicality, your wit, and you are being exposed to new things and are experiencing what it's like to be on your own as an adult. Not to mention, being truly cognizant of your own mortality hasn't settled in yet. This is the only time I will appeal to age because the older you are, the more opportunity you've had to learn and reiterate on your worldview (of course this isn't the case for all adults) - so typically, you're not going to find much value out of what a 20 year old has to offer. If you're older than a 20 year old (at least probably 5-10 years, I would say), you're not going to get a lot of amusement simply because of the differences in maturity and experience, you might find one or two, but it hasn't been this in most cases, imo - more so it's fun poking at their ignorance.

No freaking way, since there are more Ellison collectables here than anywhere on Earth (ok, Harlan has a few more items I suppose). Harlan knows me and I know him (I'm sure he has lost sleep over the decades I have surely become a needle under his right foot as a certified crazy as a soup sandwich collector) and he will always never cease to be as long as I am around. Nuff said.
I was hoping that this post had something to do with his bypass surgery, which happened in the early '90s. The doctors hook you up to a heart and lung machine, and turn off your corresponding organs while bypassing your coronary arteries with relatively clean transplants. I had this surgery in 2019. My point in bringing this up is that you are dead for a while by some people's measure of life, but not brain dead. I don't remember anything about having my heart shut off, but it would have been interesting to have Harlan's take on the situation -- an imaginary perspective.
Angelina caught my eye with "Gia," about a merry heroin-hunting dash across the U.S. Why, why did she get that comic surgery - envy from childhood of a little brother's greater favor? During a sojourn in the Realm of Moroni, I picked up a local exclamation of coolness (super, the bonb, rad, it's the shit are other regions' youthful approval sounds), and emphasis on that was "tits AND nipples!" Now she's only nipples. Word is you enjoy literary challenges. One of your peers published "(he) said grumblingly." My mind's like a sieve, and that particular fragment stuck.
