Well said! It has become my favorite timepiece; I haven’t taken it off much - dress it up or down, and I’m no diver! It’s simply, well…simple and very sophisticated in every respect. It’s robust yet refined, the details honor B/p’s diving heritage to perfection, without being a throwback. The planet’s first real diving watch, holding 2 of the most import patents in a truly waterproof watch that met the standards of the Navy SEALs among many other special forces. AND still handmade by the oldest Swiss watchmaker, defining the most rigorous standards ever known for automatic chronometers. Worth every penny!
Thanks Paul just what I was looking for. The problem with the Fifty Fathoms is there are so many to choose from but I have time to find the one that fits me, Like you it's going to take a lottery ticket or lots of saving.
@@BurrellsUk Thanks Paul and George. I went to the Blancpain AD yesterday. And saw a small selection of novelties about 5 FFs and six dress variants all stunning. Am I allowed to ask you if when I'm ready to buy to request a reasonable discount.
After owning the D-blue , the SD43, the submariner, AP off shore , Glashütte SEAQ and many more … I can easily say the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms is the most refined , robust and luxurious diver in todays market .. period. I have now the titanium blue and can’t be any happier … the rest are homages of the first diver ever created

Great review - I see the new addition 40mm Blancpain FF … can’t wait to arrive at the AD’s
Great review.

Thanks Robert, I'm filming with Paul today so I will let him know. Any other "lottery" watches you'd like to get your hands on?

Phantastic
It is! Do you own any Blancpain watches already, Andreas? Or are you generally a fan of diving watches?
