I was raised as a Muslim in Saudi Arabia, but came to receive Christ on July 7, 1999 while living in Alaska, and was baptized in water. I was not baptized in or with the Holy Spirit until many years later (16 yrs!)
I received the Holy Spirit2 years ago and began speaking in tongues!
I was Called by God on 10/12/2017 to start New Inheritance Church and to start preaching.
He gave me the faith and the courage to begin this church and begin preaching one month later on 11/12/2017!

Poor Waldo; are you referring to Mary Magdalene? Or Mary, the sister of Martha and Lazarus?
Truthseeker424; What about women who are missionaries? What if they're called by God and instructed by the Holy Spirit to teach and share the gospel with many? Isn't it God honored in that He chose this former Muslim to teach the truth of Jesus (vs the lies of Allah and his false prophet Mohammed)? It sounds like you are hostile to women who have received an anointing from Addonai. Please examine your heart and ask the Holy Spirit of the living God to reveal your motives.
I have been saved since 1990, and received the gift of salvation in a Pentecostal Church. Until this day, I have never heard such a clear, concise, and exegetical teaching of baptism, how it was forseshadowed in the OT, and revealed in the new. Correlation of this teaching is incredible. The people who are blessed enough to hear this type of teaching should thank God. I was reminded, a remnant will always remain. God bless you and the work of your hands Pastor Morris.

This worked!!! I prayed in tongues for 45 mins straight!! It took 7 months for me to able to speak in tongues after I was baptized with the Holy Spirit (the 3rd one that Morris wrote on the board). Don't be discouraged if it doesn't happen right away. I tried and prayed so much to have it and it finally happened! Praise God!

Johnnie, sin = broken fellowship. If you believe Jesus died, rose, and is coming back then you have holy spirit and nothing, absolutely nothing, not even you, can stop your spirit from going home. Now we renew our mind to the word of God.
Thank you pastor for this sermon. I have been asking to be able to speak in tongues for a few months now and have not been able to. I always second guessed myself and when I did try to speak in tongues, I told myself "My words dont sound like everyone elses" and doubted myself. It almost sounded African or Haitian compared to what my pastors and others tongues sounded ike. I have prayed, asked to be filled and told God that I receive him for this gift. I knew Christians already received the gift, I just beat myself up and kept throwing my own obstacles in. I watched this sermon at my desk at work literally 15 minutes ago and when you did the altar call at the end, I stood up at my desk and prayed with you, no one was here but me, it was perfect. I was able to speak in tongues and felt as if the top of my head was 150 degrees. My whole body was hot and I felt waves traveling thru it.Thank you so much for your word and clear and easy to understand follow teaching

I received the gift of speaking in tongues finally about a year and a half ago and what a difference it's made. I too do not have that lovely language that I had hoped for BUT I am grateful for speaking in tongues, the gift and presence of the Holy Spirit. My language sounds like some Asian dialect. I would have never chosen it but IT IS the language GOD gave me. Praise God HE gave you a Spirit Language!
When my preacher laid hands on me, back in 96 it was like someone turned on the spigot. I lost my breath I was speaking so fast. It's God talking to the hidden man of the heart. It's God recharging your batteries, but I feel ready for more. I'm gonna get baptized again and watch God do a work in me. I'm ready.
I'm getting water baptized tomm and will ask the Pastor to pray for me to get baptized by the Holy Spirit right after. Thank you for this message! God bless!

The best message I've ever heard on understanding baptism(s) and recieving the gift of the Holy Spirit. At 1st I thought I had stumbled upon pastor Robert Morris's messages but, quickly learned that the Holy Spirit had lead me here to fill an emptiness and a longing to understand something I had been missing in my previous Pentecostal denomination. My hunger for the WORD and a proper understanding of it has been greatly rekindled. I pray that many will hear it and be as blessed as I've been.

Pastor Morris, This video is old but it s so full of power. Thank you. I found a gateway church in Michigan. Is it related to your church in Texas? I was raised Catholic and baptized. In 2008, I became a Christian and in March 13,2009 got baptized as an act of Faith. In December 13,2014 I was baptized in the Holy Spirit. Have never been able to utter in tongues but after watching your video, I understood that I was under a myth that I might have not been ready. I live alone and people around me are none believers, therefore I am rather quiet and do all my praying with my "soul". Thank you for revealing to me that I must do my part. With this video, I stood up and received the Holy Spirit again and my whole being tingled and I cried. Thank you so much.

The Baptism of the Holy SpIrit with the evidence of Speaking in Tongues is REAL.. It happened to me on the evening of Sunday, January 7th, 1996. The supernatural events that came prior and during the experience are too numerous to list here.
Arguing about this Biblical happening with non-believers is fruitless ..but I know IT was from God and I think about that day almost constantly and wish that IT had lasted longer !!
Victor Maxwell Amen, I've heard ministers try to explain away the baptism in the Holy Spirit, when they"ve never experience. Its like talking about walking on the moon when we've never been there.
This is how it happened to me.. I had a salvation experience (the knock) then when I almost died Sept 25 2005..(cross over) I fell in Jesus arms and he said Keith im filling you with the Holy Ghost and 4 gifts and he showed me many things and he told me if I glorify him he would bless my production company.. he showed me 4 big screens with brights lights coming out of them. he said they would go all the way award winners. he said everything would kick in after my dad would pass then Israel was in trouble.. my dad just passed..the Lord told me he was going to send me someone who will help me..

Pastor your teaching is so clear and concise. I've been saved since I was very young. I'm fifty four years old and wasn't baptized in water until I was fourteen. I was thirty seven years old when the tongues of fire came upon me at a Joyce Meyer convention in Phoenix Arizona. I had tried and tried to force it to come hundreds of times before with no effect. I could never understand or explain the tongues of fire until I listened to you're message. Thanks and God bless you always!!!!!!!

I have been saved for two years but only started speaking in tongues now. It is alot of fun and I feel stronger and more level. Health problems have started clearing up and I think I have had extra deliverance. Pray for it and God will given you the gift of tongues. It is an important part of the armour. What comes through seems like Hebrew or something similar. Pretty cool. Here is some of what comes out for me:

The Holy Spirit/ Holy Ghost is for everyone. This was an awesome sermon. Many do not believe that the receiving the Holy Ghost is real or an important part in our Christian walk. I use to be an unbeliever myself until one day I attended this Church of God in Christ (COGIC) and they were huge believers in speaking in tongue to the point they believed that if you don't receive it you will not go to heaven. Although, that doctrine may have not been completely true, I enjoyed myself and continued attending and later becoming a member. I had prayed one night asking God that if the Holy Ghost is real then Lord help me to receive it. A week later I received! My gift on tongue has strengthen and as I continue to go deeper in Christ I (and others as well) have noticed my language is more fluent. I'm glad Pastor Morris pointed out that water baptism or spiritual baptism does not keep us from going to heaven but only salvation; believing in Jesus. But the water is symbolic to the washing of our sins, our past ways of doing things and cutting off the old man. While the Holy Ghost gives us Power to continue running the race, overcoming this world and continue striving to be better versions of ourselves. I ended up leaving that ministry and later joined a Pentecostal church where the believe in being baptized in the Name of Jesus versus being baptized in the Name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. I said to God if that makes a difference in see you in heaven then I don't want anything to stand in my way...I was baptized (for the 3rd time) along with my children. When you hunger and thirsty for God, you'll go the extra mile. Bless you man of God.

I feel liberated, delivered, repentance accepted, all yokes broken, generational curses lifted, all ungodly soul ties gone, heavyness gone, but at the same time I know I have the holy spirit so why do I feel empty inside? I feel like I need to give me fresh pouring full force of the holy spirit.
Rev55 , how can you possibly feel empty if you experienced all these things. When I excepted Jesus, I felt so great because of these attributes you speak of. You will not speak in tongues.
Repented, 3 months later was rebaptized, 3 days later down seeking the Holy Ghost, approximately 30 minutes later I started speaking in tongues i immediately heard on my right shoulder " that was from the devil" have you ever heard of this happening????????

I also was taught that speaking in tongues were not heavenly languages but human ones. And for years never have experienced this gift. I went to bed wondering this very thing last nigh, considering what to do with my baptism. I personally feel like I have been baptised in the Holy Spirit already. I felt it fill me up and change me as soon as I repented for my sins and accepted Jesus Christ as Lord. I think a water baptism would be nice to proclaim it to the world, as an outward proclaimation of my internal change that has already happened. However, in my mind Jesus has already batised me. I am still researching but this seems right to me.
Praise God thank you enlightening, interesting and so important for the work we need to do in this World. Felt the presence of God as you preached. Amen.
Wow the last step ask Jesus and then you are completed water & his blood are necessary - by faith in him we are anointed - his oil immerses us throughout and the power and gifts of his spirit come from his grace - we must consult with Jesus to complete this process

I wish he had gone the extra step and told them how to speak in tongues. Holy Spirit uses our voice, our mouth, our lips, our teeth, our breath. You have to open your mouth and make noise. The Holy Spirit doesn't just make you speak in tongues. You have to open your mouth and make noise. Words will form in your mouth. God has been using me to teach people about the Baptism in the Holy Spirit over the past couple of months. 5 people have received it and spoke in tongues immediately afterwards because I told them how to do it. My nine year old granddaughter only said one small phrase and she prayed it over and over again. Then she said, "Nana, I want to say more than just....." I said, "Well let's ask Holy Spirit to increase your language. So we prayed and she immediately began speaking a stream of words and prayed for 45 minutes straight.

Tongues were for a sign, and Israel required signs. They have been done away with, and is duplicated and used by satan and his ministers. Wake up people. Rightly divide between prophecy and mystery.
As someone who was baptized in the Holy Spirit spoke in tongues as a show of baptism but it didn't stay and has never spoke in tongues again-I don't understand this concept.

That is so true David especially in the old baptist churches. I never heard about the Holy Spirit being preached when I was a youth. Makes you wonder why? Just another example of how people pick and chose what to believe in the Bible.
