I'm a little late to your party here, but, interestingly enough, as of today, December 10, 2021, the U.S. Government still lists Myanmar as a "Level 4 - Do not travel," but other sites claim the country's safe - despite. Oh well, if it's not the quarantines that keep me from travelling and crossing borders, it's the lockdowns or potential lockdowns due to every new COVID strain. I was planning on resuming international wandering in February, but that may ALSO be too ambitious now! It never occurred to me to visit Myanmar, but then I discovered you and "ESY."
