Great top 5 you have got there. So difficult to pick a top 5 out of all the albums he has put out. I would have to find a space for Into The Music though, it is probably my favourite album of Van's.
This has just reminded me that "Moondance" is the only album that I have on three different formats (vinyl, cassette, and CD). I suppose that says something.
I'm a big van morisson guy but his catalogue is so vast....moondance is my fav tho......so I'll check ur picks...the thing is I went to someones house once and they played one i was playing guitar along to it....damned if i could remember which one when i left....lol that was 30 years ago...still searching

The Joey D. LP "YDMC" is as good as it gets. Van has never played with Musicians at this level, that's why he approached Joey. Joey D. is the Best, no one is even close or has ever been.

Absolutely, Into the Music for sure would be in my top 10!
"Magic Time" is Van's most underrated album in my opinion.
