- In this video I'm trying to remake the new #starwars poster in #photoshop. #theriseofskywalker is only two months away, and the new trailer and poster recently released! I love the poster so much, I wanted to try and recreate it as close as I could!

sorry but if you don't know how to do this after 6 years then you've probably spent less than 200 hours in the program
@@brax9062 can confirm I have. I've just not really taught myself how to shade properly, I got into the GFX side over art, I know how to use many things in it. Just not the art department. Idk how that translates to me not using it for more than 200 hours, there is a LOT of things in Photoshop

How to remake it.....
1. Look at the poster
2. Screenshot it
3. Pretend u made it
4. BOOM
5. Get hate for copying it

Literally no one is hating but you lol, his goal was to make it himself as close to the original as he could not make a whole new poster and he didnt screenshot so stop being negative if you dont like it dont watch

I think you may have just mis interpreted the title, he was legit just remaking it. the photo's aren't the same as in the actual poster, he was just challenging himself to see if he could create a composition as good as the proffessional who actually made the poster. he wasn't trying to add any artistic uniquness to it, he was simply challenging himself to copy what he saw

Now i would say: This guy has really lit🔥 editing skills.
My guy really went in and painted the stars one by one 😭
Blue Nova Not really he used a scatter brush with a premade star shape. It randomizes the sizes just by dragging the brush, then you go in and paint out what you dont want if a few look out of place.

Really awesome work man! The highlights you paint and all, really make it go into that classic Star Wars poster look. Don't you like the new selection tools in Photoshop? You are using the pen tool I see, that does take a lot of extra time, while if your source material and their background are distinct, there are faster ways available right now (I have been using Photoshop for 25 years now, so I did my share of creating paths in the past, haha).
