The government is nothing more than a high-priced broker and clearing house for corporations (agriculture, medical, and military). Eventually the corporations, or the public, or both, will learn how to get rid of the middle man and find the balance.
Government creates an unnatural balance point, in favor of corporate interests over the public welfare (almost exactly the opposite of their hypocritically claimed goals)

They call me crazy with an eating disorder if I mention that this food product has so many chemicals. I had a wife with medical issues, we spent tons of time in doctors offices and in emergency rooms. I noticed that they always did the bare minimum, i compaired it to fast food, get you in the door and do a test or 2, most likely tests that have been done before, and push you out again, and try to get you setup with your next apointment.. little or NO effort to try to find or fix the issue.
She declined over years, it ruined us. We lost everything.. Eventually she got an infection and they would just barely push it away and then it would come back. there was barely any effort during this time and she died from it.. I learned alot about it the years after, and it was obvious what was happening and very treatable, they just did not bother. The industry killed my wife for profit.

We were lucky she never got ketoacidosis. We met parents who had kids go into comas. There is a whole intake wing for newly diabetic children at the children's hospital we go to

I lived abroad in Iceland for 4 months, and lost about 20 pounds. I didn't change my diet/exercise habits at all and felt much more clear-headed when I was there. There's nothing else you can attribute that to other than the lack of toxic chemicals in the food I was eating while I was there.

My lifestyle sucked until I was 23. I whipped my butt into shape without external support. It’s not hard to do it, it’s hard to start. But I’m in better shape now after four kids than I was in college. My kids watch me work out and eat healthy day in and day out. My older two are interested in cooking with me now which I absolutely love. My husband is tougher to get into this with me, but he goes through his spurts of healthy eating and he could be much worse.
If I could do one thing with my life it would be to be the tough love for people and getting their diets cleaned up. Even if you don’t exercise your diet is probably killing you faster than anything else you can do to your body.

It's easier now in days to do your own research on foods and products that can improve your health. I'm 48, and I can say that I feel in my mid-30s. One thing that I can say is that healthy choices are usually more expensive. Invest in your health. It's probably more valuable than anything else out there.

I have family and friends who would rather take the easy way out by taking drugs rather than changing their toxic diet. I've even been an example to them by the actions I've taken in changing my health through diet. I'm hoping that by changing the food we eat to organic non gmo and not allowing the toxic food to be available, it will help somewhat. We'll have to also somehow change the mindset to get people off the pharmaceuticals.
