This was probably the first game this season that I wasn’t a nervous wreck while watching, really enjoyed the play from everyone, special shout out to Caicedo and Cucu.
Also what I really loved was watching Noni, especially when he squared the ball to Jackson for a 99%goal, before he would have taken a shot for a 50% goal chance. Excellent.

we were down 2-0 against villa when gallagher and coicedo was playing so its not that pochettinho switching up tactics to invert cucureilla to midfield solved the problem with the space , its the bad formation poch made us play for months

It’s amazing to see how the agenda on Enzo happens more within our fanbase than with rivals…let him get healthy & have a great Copa America so u guys can love him again🤣….but today was a comfortable win and actually enjoyed how we played from start to finish. Caicedo is showing he is one of the best midfielders in the Prem and needed an adjustment period to get settled. Madueke is improving, Jackson’s confidence is growing again, and Palmer doing Cold things as usual…nice to see this team express themselves but it’s sad it took this long for ppl to see we have talent…like Kavkas Views said, it’s about how the manager is able to put them in these positions which he finally is doing👏🏿
Stop tagging any criticism as agenda. Enzo would really NEED to change his game and himself to match Gallagher’s pace, tireless runs all game and shooting. Enzo might still not fit this flowing team just yet.

How we are set up fits Gallagher better than Enzo, multiple pundits and content creators have said this, however, running around and pressing is not better than on the ball attributes such as touch, passing, IQ, etc….I don’t see Man City have a run around player and get overrun in their midfield…Arsenal have Rice but with Havertz and Odegaard in midfield they don’t run around a lot or are defensively minded…difference is they are set up formation wise to defend AND attack with more ball possession kinda like we did today. Enzo is not void of criticism but he’s not a bum either…let’s wait for him to heal up so u can fall in love with him again🙃🤣
@@c_nyak24 there are 2 types of people in this world the hard worker and the smart worker.. for a team that wants to dominate the opposition and be able to unlock their defense again and again than we gonna need players who are good with the ball.. it's also having to play with an extra attacking player that has improved our offensive play..
@@paulmka0047 I completely agree…look at any of the top teams in the world today, all of them are strong on the ball and have a decent structure that helps them defensively. Being able to run around for days is cool and all however if the team structure is sound, your quality on the ball is high, u can bypass a lot of those who prioritize running a ton of kilometers…ball is faster than players 🤷🏾♂️

I like Gallagher and what he brings to the team.. but the reality is that at some point with more confidence and consistency from this team Poch will be able to be more adventurous with his tactics to be able to affect the play even more and Gallagher will be reduced to just being a squad player and no one is gonna complain about.. he has already managed to improve Noni's work rate its only a Metter of time we see it happen with Enzo who will have much more to offer..

Sorry Kaskas, Enzo has no pace, and can’t run. Holds on to the ball too long and does not have the engine of Gallagher to hassle defenders all game, neither does he have d shooting ability or runs of Gallagher. It’s not going to be a smooth switch when he comes back.
Fantastic performance
Nico Jackson creates so many chances with his pace, creativity, and hard work. The kind of player who tries to run through anything and just keep going (like Messi, but not saying Messi level of course), and I think that helps create a lot more opportunities that others don't create. Also keeps the flow going in a way that is very helpful to our squad. May not be a natural finisher, but has so many other top talents, and is getting better at finishing too.
My question now, is, would maatsen not play the inverted LB better than Cucurella given that Poch didn't favour maatsen cos of size.
And finally, Palmer reminds me of Messi. Defense splitting passes!? WOW... 🎉👏🏆💯 Up you blues!!!
Enzo does not just walk into the team, Caicedo looks better with an actual runner beside him. A pivot of Caicedo and Lavia would free up the forward players to go and be creative.

Pochettino should now recognize that his decisions have contributed to Chelsea's current position, as they are not contending for the league or a top-four spot. Had he maintained the strategies from pre-season, Chelsea could be in a much stronger position today. For instance, adhering to the strategy of inverting the full-backs instead of deploying Chilwell at left-wing or Cowill at left-back could have put us in a better position to compete for trophies.

I've been thinking a lot about the Enzo situation. It's definitely not black & white. This is going to take a moment.
I just rewatched the game against ManU where we won 4-3. His passing is so clean, so elegant - without a doubt some of the most beautiful passing across the world. It's practically perfection and both accuracy and smooth elegance. But we have to admit that you DO lose something when you swap Conor out for him. The three Cs - Cucu, Caicedo, and Conor - are so effective together because all three of them are so good at pressing and winning the ball back. With just 2 Cs and Enzo, we'd definitely not win *as many* balls as we do. But, with Enzo's ability to cut through the lines and pass so well to the playmakers up top (Cole, Noni, Raheem, Misha, and Nico), you have to try to work him in.
My thought is that Conor is ideal as a replacement for any of these three players depending on the team we're playing, injury, or portion of a game - and as competition. If any of them is hurt, Conor can step in and do their role similarly if not quite as well. If any of them is having an off period - Enzo not working hard enough on defense, Cucu acting cuckoo, one of Caicedo's 10 siblings having an issue that's throwing him off - Conor can replace them. Keeps everyone on their toes. If we go up 2-0 or 3-0, can put Conor on for Enzo to hold down the fort and give Enzo a much needed rest. Conor is also great (very intelligent) at throwing in some bruising tackles when the game is getting out of our control, need to disrupt their rhythm, or we're getting manhandled a bit and need someone to fight back (did it in the ManU match a couple of things when we seemed to be losing any hope and were getting pushed around). If we're playing a team where we need more solid control and no Cucu's hyperactive pressing, Conor's on. Mid-week cup games....
Maybe that's not ideal for Conor. But I think he's so Chelsea and such a good team player that he would do it happily. I also think he backs himself enough that he'd continually fight for a starting spot over any of them. He's improved a lot in the past year and will keep improving due to this determination.
But, really, it's hard to not start him. His hard work and good pressing leads to a lot of goals without getting the credit from goals & assists tallies. Can we just try playing with 12 on the field?

@@KavkasView He may take his position, but he won't take his role. They have very different pros & cons. It's tough. But we've got a few more games this season to see how it keeps going, and then can see how it works with Enzo next season.
The truth is that Conor is aware of the huge criticism of him from fans for not being skilful with balls, and he has shown significant improvements. This is not the Gallagher that started the season.
On Enzo, he is a bundle of talent, a first team player, but he's been playing with illness. I'm sure it will be a selection headache for Poch when Enzo and everyone else returns.

What Changed - Enzos Injury
Enzo, Gallager and Caicedo cannot play together, i have said this since last year. How Poch took so long to know this is unforgivable
No. What changed is Pochettino inverted Cucurella into midfield like Arteta did with Zinchenco. Madueke is playing the Saka role, Mudryk is playing the Martinelli role, Palmer is playing the Odegaard role and Gallagher is playing the Xhaka position.
It is a clear tactical change to see the leftback playing in midfield. Enzo can slot into Gallaghers position and nothing will change, infact we will create even more chances
Enzo won't be handle to cope with the change from attack to defense

First time I'm seeing a you tuber using some some sense, take out cucurella' s inverting then you get what happened at Aston Villa in first half, anyone who coach at any level can see that the change in midfield at Aston Villa started when cucurella come out at second half as an inverted left back to help who got run over and bypassed so its not the combination of gallagher and caicedo

Instead of Enzo replacing Gallagher..Have Caicedo play the role Cucurella is but inverting from RB. He is very capabke at RB and played there for Brighton numerous times. We start with a pivot of Gallagher and Enzo.
That way in possession we will have a pivot of Enzo and Caicedo playing close together in midfield. We will still have Gallagher pushing high up.the pitch where he plays best AND we can still keep Palmer in the 10.
IMO This gets the best OUT OF Enzo, Caicedo, Gallagher and Palmer..
Gallagher - Caicedo + half of Cucu is our best midfield

The only reason it works is Cucurella inverting. If Cucurella was inverting when Enzo was playing it wpudl have been just as good.
What would be even better is not inverting anyone and just playing a 343 3421 formation in the first place. It's suits the team more. Arguably Enzo most of all.

Disasi was never a problem, the fan base are the problem disturbing there mind and expecting so much from a new born team. The Coach is new also another problem, everyone is trying to discover themselves while the coach is trying all sorts to have a balanced team. In discovery period people make mistakes. The fans are still living the Old Glory although it's good for the new team so they can hasten up with there discovery but if we make changes because we are not getting what we want then we start all over again when u bring in a new coach.
