Thanks so much for playing my encounter! I'm really happy you enjoyed it :)
And I know the ending is a bit rough, so let me explain what it was supposed to be:
Flowey has used all of the souls power trying to prevent you from having your turn (you can't defeat him if you can't make a choice), and after a while that power has run out, meaning he was forced to give you your turn. However, all of the trickery he used throughout the fight severely damaged him and the whole universe, making him vulnerable to attacks (so yes, you could kill him, but you'll need to play on hard to reach genocide ending).
When you chose the "mercy" option you sacrificed your own soul and gave it to flowey, allowing him to stay in the asriel form for the rest of his life, and freeing him from underground. However, because you gave away your soul, there is no way for you to come back to the underworld (that's why it's "the final" encounter and asriel is asking you to come back).
If you look closely at the scene with the sunset, you can see that the human's shirt is actually green and yellow, and not blue and purple. This is because that is Chara, not Frisk. Chara is there because you face her in the previous encounter from the trilogy, and the whole story is too big to put into a single comment :P
(And yes, there is a jumpscare if you don't wind up the box fast enough)

Also, Flowey talking about the "memories" and then using attacks based on old, retro, and even modern games is essentially him creating attacks from the human's memories, like childhood memories and such.

The last one got me though. FNaF is what introduced me to the idea of a closely knit fandom, and the idea of theories and such. Apart from the Warriors Cats community which i was kinda in at the time, id never been a part of that kind of community. Heck, if i hadntve gotten into FNaF, i may never have learned about Undertale at all! That was FIVE YEARS AGO now, when I first got into FNaF, and it brought back SO many memories. Its what brought me and my friends at the time closer, and its quite literally how me and my now-girlfriend bonded when we first met.
You dont have to be an adult to be nostalgic~
In a sense it is really cool but I would put it that these were the games that chara played with asriel in a different timeline

I've watched this one a few times and I must say that I just noticed something I never had before, the little Flowey symbol on Papyrus' outfit once he's 'upgraded'. Awesome when you get to notice new things even after watching videos a few times.
