I really like Connie, he managed to maintain being level-headed despite the news that his family was turned into a titan. Grew up becoming more mature but still having his dorky side. Reaching the point of loosing Sasha, wherein I noticed he became more serious than usual. He's great!
A bit interesting and rare to hear Shimono talking seriously about his acting, and it's so cool to hear how deeply his role in aot has affected his life as well. Thank you for subbing!
Always love to see what are the thoughts behind it when they're acting as their respective characters They're really thinking that much about their characters, that's just really sweet in my eyes
Even though how every character in AoT is somewhat realistic in their own way, I think Connie is the one that is the most realistic. Cause, yes, even though there are people like Reiner, who is going through mental trauma, and Eren, who changed completely due to his circumstances, and others in their own way, not everyone is them and neither does everyone know people like them. Connie is one of those who you can relate to and the he’s one of those who you can find in your friend group. And that, to me, is a comfort character. Though, I do believe Connie is more than a comfort character. He’s goofy, I agree, and even though it’s one of his strengths, that isn’t the only one. He’s a emotionally stable and headstrong character. It really shows when his whole village was turned into a bunch of mindless titans but he still kept his head. He matured when Sasha died. Even though that hurts me, it’s what would happened if someone went through the same in real life. Before you say it, I know about thay scene in the manga where he goes berserk for a chapter, but it’s human nature. Connie is one character that is seriously misunderstood. He is only set back aside saying he’s the so-called ‘comic relief’. Even though he is one, his character is not limited to it, and people should really look at other aspects of him.
Turned on the notifications for these! Arigatou gozaimasu! I really really appreciate you for posting these AOT Radios. I always love a conversation between Shimono and Kaji (ShimoKaji.💛
fr connie along with jean are really the real mvps tho... they are literally ordinary human beings, the fact that they last till the end is just so :") p.s: i was bawling my eyes out in 138

@@marcuscheng9398 oh right, I know about that since I read the manga. I'm also not on board with what he did at that moment though
