I have been testing different things out lately. Amouage 45 is not bad at all. I ordered my first roja which is Oceania I really like that one. My goal is to have one from every house out here. I have been sampling 😂
I'm a big fan of Amouage but have to agree that they are generally situational. I don't have this one....yet! It's incredibly expensive, so I'll probably get a 5mls sample first.
Amouage is a hard core niche house. Most of their stuff I have tried through decants and Reflection man and this Tobacco and Beach Hut are the only ones I consider “wearable”. I haven’t tried Jubilation yet but I heard that one is good. Reflection is definitely my favorite, I got a great deal on Reflection 45 and I wear that all the time. Good description of this fragrance, it’s really good but not my favorite tobacco. Try Reflection, it’s really wearable, and gets compliments like crazy.
Great review. I have an interlude man clone that I really adore. It’s so unique and goes through a number of changes. Makes me want to look into the genuine article for sure.
As far as Amouage, Enclave is a great take on a fresher mint. Perfumed by Julien Rasquinet (The Moon by Frederick Malle & Royal Oud by Creed), superb quality and performance. Maybe sample that one. For another great tobacco fragrance, I really love Late Harvest by Fort & Manle. To me, it's the best take on cherry pipe tobacco that I have put my nose on.
Dia and Beloved Man are easy to wear. Worth checking out. Their newer releases (Meander, Enclave) are also much easier to wear if that’s what you’re looking for
Amouage are true to the name niche house. I’ve hear that some of their fem would come across more mass appeal as they still push the envelope but it’s not as situational. Otherwise reflection man is pretty safe by their standards lol
Did you try Reflection Man? Supposedly that’s the easiest Amouge to wear, kinda like a higher end Le Male, would like your thoughts on it.

That decant is a perfect size, will last you ages given the nuclear performance

I got my nose on king blue recently and I can honestly say that it could be worn somewhat casually.
