I received my Gearhead Disrupter 24 last week. Purchased through Charlie Forbis at Promaster archery in Joplin, Mo. This is a sweet shooting bow. I got the disrupter to be able to adjust the pull weight. I'm 59 years old and haven't shot for years so I'm starting at 55# and work my way up.
I've been shooting bows since i was 11yrs old and im 50 now and you've always been able to adjust your poundage with an allen wrench. I shoot a hoyt now and all bows only have 2 screws to take off your grip. That bow has everything all the other bows have. Deer will hear that thump sound and then you got deer running away.
These have got to be the oddest looking bows on the market. They look sturdy. The over all size of the bow would be great in a ground blind or I guess just about any hunting scenario. I noticed when you were at full draw and you relaxed your grip that the riser looked like it got in the way. Did it affect your grip "comfort zone"? It looks like it could be a bit tight in that area. Hate to hear the fate of the chrono. As long you walked away without a scratch, chronos can be replaced. 👍

Why not shoot it without the stabilizer?

So you would prefer looks over functionality? Have you shot one yet? I would highly recommend it if you haven't. Absolutely amazing bows!
