As a first time Apple user, I bought the SE3 last year. Wanted to upgrade to the 13 mini, then Apple dropped it from their line up. Worse, Amazon and John Lewis were selling the mini and 13 at the same price. Bought the full size 13 from Apple in Product Red. Same chip as the one in the 14 but nicer colors than the 15. Managing to get two days of battery life out of the new phone as well.
I originally wanted the 13 mini as well. But could not get it at the time, so went with the regular 13. Still a great phone.
In Poland now 13 mini is like 200-300 PLN (50-75 USD) more expensive than standard 13 xD
Very true review. , I got my brand new iPhone 13 3 months ago, am very satisfied I love the performance the camera , if you are practical buy 13 than 14 , same chipset bionic 15 , the only thing I like in iPhone 15 is the Dynamic Island but over alll same oled I think I upgrade after 1 to 2 years ❤❤❤❤

I had the iPhone 13 since feb 2022. My iPhone went dead last Saturday with a 89% battery life with a lot of full panic logs. With my still active AppleCare+ , my local Apple Store swapped me a new iPhone 13 :) I’m back at 100%

I bought mine at April 2022, about a year and half, its perfect never had an issues with it and with case always on and the screen protector its like brand new also my battery is 91%, i love it and i don’t want to change it until iPhone 16 maybe or 17.
Are you advising me to buy it I'm not gaming and I'm the first I phone for me do you think 13 is the best choice for me ?

Damn right. I got mine a year n a half ago 256gb for 930 us dollars... In Sénégal n i love it. It's my everyday iphone s battery n performance is top notch. N i love 60 hertz as it saves battery n my 13 never heats up 😊 still using it but looking forward to a 6.3 inch iPhone 16 which may very well be a reality. As i can never handle a pro max or any big phone😊

@@evanmarch4142 yes apple seems to understand most prefer a slightly bigger screen than a pro Max or plus so they might do the pro n regular from 6.1 to 6.3 inches as TH-camrs said in their predictions. Which means the 16 regular n pro may be 6.3 inches for the first time. And they will put the same zoom camera on 15 pro max into the 16 pro as well. Fingers crossed 🤞 😂 thank you

I bought my iPhone 13 starlight 128gb back in October 2023 and I’m satisfied. I went with that model because that’s the last iPhone with a SIM card slot, not really a fan of Esim.

That’s some confidence. That might be end of life by then.
I think I’d have to disagree. Last year yes, the iPhone 13 was the much better value than the 14 as the 14 didn’t really change anything. It was basically the iPhone 13 with different colors and a slightly better camera. Only if you are on a budget then the iPhone 13 is the best iPhone to look at. But if not then the iPhone 15 offers quite a few really good upgrades over the 13. The iPhone 15 has:
- a bigger battery (3,349 as compared to 3,240)
- a processor upgrade this time compared to last year’s 14, and a more future proof 6GB of RAM compared to 4 in the 13
- a larger (both lens size and megapixel count) 48 megapixel main camera. Larger sensor, more light, better photos. Plus it has cinematic mode and overall better video capture. Selfie camera also now has a larger f1.9 aperture and auto-focus, and the auto focus is really, really helpful and useful.
- Dynamic Island. This still depends on your use case, but I find it quite useful. Plus design wise I think it looks cleaner than the notch. It isn’t that much better, but at least it’s smaller than the notch.
Really depends on the user, whether those are worth $200. but all valid points.
@@evanmarch4142umm if 200$ are not worth the above upgrades plus the usb c, then instead of 13 there’s a lot of great androids available with 120hz refresh rate and all. Unless deep into ecosystem, in which case they should save up for that.

it switches between 13 and 15. 13 has everything I need and 15 is the latest but not a fan of dynamic island even though i love camera quality. which one should I get?
I mean it really depends on what you use it for most. The 13 takes great pictures. If you are wanting the best then go 15.

But multitasking is not good on this phone.. it kills or re-start the apps after some time if 7-8 apps are open in background
Yes, like most iPhones memory is lower. And that is one down side. But least for me. Apps load pretty quick.

im thinking of buying an iphone 13 from facebook marketplace but i see a deal where its 135$ it has 1 long crack on the back just one and a couple small scratches/bumps on the frame and thats it, idk doesnt seem legit i could go for a safe option and pick the 11 for 90$ but come on 45$ more and im getting a 13? i just wanna hear your thoughts on that, i personally dont know, she sells some couple more phones shes currently selling 12 phones and the account is made in 2023 which makes it even more sus
Ya I would stay away from that 13. either go with the 11 or wait till after christmas some new ads will be coming on the market place with others getting new phones on christmas.

Not 100% sure on that. You would have to find a specific video on that one. It’s always good to keep up to date with on the last couple for security reasons.

midnight overall better goes with all cases and outfits im using 14 midnight and i love the colour starlight is too common cause everyone gets that cause it looks cute xdd but you should go with whatever u like
The lighter the phone the less finger prints.
I'm also thinking on which color to choose, love the midnight but heard about camera lens' paint chipping over time. Is this really the case?
Starlight collects less fingerprints, and the scratches on the starlight’s aluminium frame are a lot less visible than on the Midnight version

You should had mine for 2 years now. Not a single issue. I would think so. But you can for sure ask their support.

To me you miss the Elephant in the room... Going back over a decade I experienced a time roaming through a remote sparsely populated area where I had phone service but "Was NOT ALLOWED" to make calls! We should know in some circumstances phone companies will prioritize enabling calls to authority restricting the public at large! Satellite connect-ability with Apple purchasing their own Satellite System is a reality changer; to my understanding, emergency satellite phone service will not be restricted! From my perspective, any consideration other than Iphone 14 or above is UNTHINKABLE, if you have family or significant loved you want to communicate with. Imagine wanting to stay in touch with someone in Israel?

Apple do have the means money wise; however, there are more redundant satellite systems available and android device manufactures most probably will follow suite in time. Satellite Phones and subscription fees are beyond my budget as well as my ability buy IPhone 14 now and I need to plan & budget for over time. This advancement in communication is huge and needs to be celebrated and shouted from the roof tops! @@evanmarch4142
