Why doesn’t it have a touchscreen like the other creatistas
You are SO right about this. The machine gives ZERO indications that service is needed before you waste a pod to find out.
Awesome finally Vertuo has a Creatista line just like the Original. I hope Nespresso Vertuo would continue to expand to other machines like the Original
I like the Vertuo it's just that picking a machine I like is challenging because I like their first machines but I wished for the Creatista version. Thank goodness Nespresso Vertuo expanded to machines like the Original.
So is this the larger capsule version of the normal Creatista Plus
Yes! Enjoy. ☕ ❤️
Does it make cold foam as well like the the regular frother?
Hello, Jessica! Thank you for reaching out. Please let us know where you are contacting us from, so we could further assist you.
No, it doesn't. I don't know why they don't just answer people's questions without asking their location. For over $500 it should have a cold foam function. I'm very disappointed that mine doesn't.
How do I turn up the water temperature settings ??coffee is not hot enough fyi
Hello. Your Vertuo machine is designed to brew each blend to the specific programmed temperature that is best suited to that blend. Quality is especially important to us, so the coffee brews to its ideal temperature without burning. We recommend pre-heating your mug or cup before use. If you are still concerned, please call us at 1-800-562-1465.
日本での販売はありますか?
Does the machine need to be warmed up by running water through before making the coffee? This is what we were told to do with previous Nespresso machines but can’t see this in the instructions for this machine.
Hi Melissa, it is not essential, but can help warm the internal elements. Many thanks.
@@nespresso How do you do that? Mine won't brew plain water without a capsule in it. And before you ask, please don't tell me to call someone. And I'm in the US.
Let's hope that this model isn't as plagued with issues the Vertuo Next had. I went through 4 machines in 1 year and couldn't get one to last longer than 4 months. No matter the variant Delonghi or Breville, they were the worst model.
OH...but it is. #nespressogarbage
Sadly, it is. I have had to return mine twice in the first two months of ownership. I thought with a Breville, it would be a sturdy model. Alas it leaks like the Next. My Delonghi Plus I've had zero problems with and owned it longer.
What’s a good pod for cappuccino?
There are capsules specifically for milk coffees(cappuccino) under the barista creations - bianco doppio, but if you want a normal one, I found double espresso chiaro/dolce( depending on intensity) work very well with cappuccinos!
Can this machine froth milk and brew at the same time? Does it have a dual heating system.
Hi Kris, our Vertuo Creatista machine will not froth the milk and extract the coffee at the same time. You must brew them separately. My apologies for any disappointment this may cause. Thank you.
This was initially a concern of mine as well a I have the creatista pro standard pod machine. Just bought this machine and it doesn't bother me because you can queue the brew process so it starts immediately after the milk froth. You really don't lose much time by comparison
@@PaulKing1970 this is way too much of a compromise on a near $1,000 machine. It's so much lazier, cheaper, and more profitable to disable a feature than to have to re-engineer it to work with less power here in the United States. All of the recent high-end machines from Nespresso are neutered for the United States lower power. My old latissima pro frothing is near instant to start but the vertuo latissima takes almost a minute before it can achieve enough heat to start frothing and then can only heat milk up to 125 -130F. My old latissima machine could hit 145 F and the aeroccino hits 150 F. Nespresso claims the lower temps are normal but if that's the case all my older Nespresso equipment must be broken then. Please stop the lies Nespresso. For the first time I'm thinking about ditching my Nespresso stuff and getting a Delonghi super automatic which froths milk up to 160 F........ And yes Nespresso that's here in the United States. IT CAN AND DOES WORK. YOU GUYS JUST DON'T WANT TO PAY FOR THE SIMPLE REENGINEERING OF A POWER SUPPLY. Then you have the nerve to ask US customers to pay the same price for this neutered garbage even though it can't even perform up to its own specs
@@nespresso What's is even more of a disappointment is your deleting of negative comments about this and other machines. So here is another to delete....or you can take responsibility and listen. Why sell creatista machines with power supplies clearly not designed for the US market. Why not re-engineer the power supply instead of asking usa customers to pay full price for a neutered version like the creatista pro that cant steam and brew simultaneously here in the US but does everywhere else. The vertuo latissima that takes almost a minute after pressing the button to achieve enough heat to start frothing and then only heats milk up to a lukewarm 125F while your own web site states 140F is the perfect milk temp. However, you tell the complaining customer 125F is normal. These are all signs of machines that are underpowered and poorly engineered with bad customer service. I guess you guys are out of that after the vertuo next disaster. All this make me want to get rid of my nespresso gear.
@@krisbedgood6055 I have this machine and I agree it's underpowered. The coffee does not get as hot as my VertuoPlus. When I add steamed milk, my first sip is luke warm already. Disappointing. They can delete my comment too.
Do you always have the press the coffee button twice, I brewed a Stormio today and it was way less coffee than my original nespresso vertuo machine
Hello. You would only press the brew button twice if you wanted to create a more concentrated pour.
The short shot is used to create more room in your mug for milk, or if you are wanting to condense a 7.7 oz coffee into a double espresso style shot.
When is this coming to Ireland
❤❤❤❤
Is the small the single espresso and when you do the double press for a short extraction you get 25ml out of it as opposed yo 40ml?
What would the instructions be if using soy milk instead?
Never drink soy
1. Stop being gay
2. Follow the same steps as normal milk
What’s the problem that the milk function doesn’t work???
We're disappointed to hear this, and we hope you know that we're always here to help. Please give us a call to speak with a machine expert for comprehensive troubleshooting. We are available 24/7 at 800-562-1465.
At 0:40 and 3:03 they both read "Cappuccino Flat White" on screen. The recipe at 0:40 should read simply: Cappuccino. The recipe at 3:03 should read simply: Flat White. The way you named them, it could be confusing to beginners.
Thank you for your honest feedback!
How do you make hot water for tea?
Hello. This machine doesn't have a separate hot water function for tea.
@@nespresso Oh, I was told that when I bought it. Bummer
@@nespresso Then how do you warm the internal elements as you said could be in another comment on this video?
why would you buy such a expensive machine that only can be used with the expensive virtue pods...
Don't buy it if you don't want to. I did and it's amazing.
There’s no way this is someone’s actual accent. Who talks like that!?

This machine is GARBAGE. I own one, and it constantly requires cleaning. It hardly ever stays connected to the app, which is required for cleaning. It is NOISY. Once in a while, pressing the button does nothing. The manual is CRAP. Stay away from this piece of crap.
We are disappointed to hear that you are having issues with your Vertuo Creatista. Give us a call at 800.562.1465, and one of our machine experts would be happy to assist you with troubleshooting services.
@@nespresso Giving you a call does NOTHING for the TERRIBLE design of this machine. You are notified AFTER you put a pod in that some service is needed...AGAIN! So you just wasted a pod. It happens at least once a week. The engineers who designed this should be FIRED! Your Product Management team in charge should be FIRED. Just crap design and an embarrassment to the engineering field. I think a class action is in order to compensate for ALL the wasted pods that have and will occur without prior knowledge about the ongoing operation costs.
Too late, I'm sorry but for new owners, DON'T connect to the app. This is only going to cause problems with software glitches, etc. Clean manually as you would any machine that does not connect to an app. Technology never works how it supposed to. It's just a way to track you. We shouldn't have to call them to troubleshoot a machine that leaks from day one, straight out of the box. Returned mine for another. Still leaks. Still doesn't heat well. Still coffee grounds. Come on, it's only a month old. Why would I spend half my day on the phone with Nespresso trying to figure out what's wrong with a brand new machine?
