Awesome that you're going to Springfield, me too! I'll be working the NMRA booth Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. Feel free to stop by and say hi!
Just subscribed with this video! Love the prototypical start at 3:05 and how the train ever so slightly accelerated at a very realistic rate, flawlessly moving slow!
Magnificent catches of the model trains and pass, i like it 5 stars. Thumbs up. Keep up the perfect work, my friend, i just liked and subscribed your channel, Greetings from Portugal to Canadá.
Wade love your work. I would like to come visit this layout sometime. Maybe learn and get some ideas. My son and I are in the planning stage of a 2000sqft. layout. Also thought a 1977 black Trans Am would look good on the CN SilverCreek sub. LOL!
Great work guys! I love the style of club you have put together. Like minded modelers and the craftsmanship speaks for itself. Always look forward to the updates. -John
Lots of great progress in the last few months 👍👍 Looking forward to the next few months. And more update videos. Great work on the weathering on the hoppers turned out awesome.
For your mainline siding switches, are you going to put in some form of lock? A friend of mine did something like this with old freezer locks, the kind with the circular key. He may have even had it so it showed on the panel. I know it showed red for local control and green for normal on the facia. Just adds a step of conductor work after calling the dispatcher/RTC for permission to open up.
That would be neat, but I can’t think of where we would need them. All the siding switches are CTC, and the manual switches are just for customer tracks, the only time you would need permission on a switch is if you were locked in at a customer, but then you would just get a work authority on that block and it lets you use the switch. But I like the idea!!! Maybe I’ll try to make that work somehow, I’ll keep it in mind! Cheers
@@SilverCreekSubOCS clearance and I would still feel pretty good, I think. Still pretty good with the signals, maybe a little better on the dwarfs, saw them a little more frequently. Been a long while since I've visited the great white north
Wish I had the time like this to knock models out but after spending the majority of my time on the real deal I just don't have it in me. I'll be one of those guys at 70 years old that starts selling off tons of stuff I never got to.
Thank you!! And you just have to practice practice practice!! I was lucky enough to have a friend who had faith in me and kept giving me work, piece after piece I got better and better, but there was a lot of jobs that weren’t very good in the start, just practice and be kind to yourself! Cheers
Always enjoy watching your videos and having my morning coffee. Keep the great work.
@@garryhulshof4383 thanks Garry

Great update! Nice weathering on those Sand Hoppers. Maybe I missed it but where is this layout located? Basement of a building?
Thank you!! Our layout is in our local community center
4:22 Whose couplers are those? They look great, might convert from my Kadee's if they're not too expensive!
Those are just painted up kadee 158s we use them on everything
That 3011 looks sharp! Quick question for you? What did you use to flatten the black on that unit? Thanks for posting the video.
Thanks for watching!! And that is just a semi gloss clear at the end, it just knocks the shine down but doesn’t totally flatten it
Oops I just watched it again, it's a SCALE TRAIN.... thank you
lol no worries
Hey Silver Creek please tell me what kind of CN LOCOMOTIVE that is? It's very NICE. Thank you for the update.
I see you found your answer
You know Track Side Mike? What's it like knowing a celebrity?
🤣🤣🤣

Nice weathering job. Not a talent i have.

Just buy a cheap tyco unit and etc and practice on it. It's not rocket science just technique and experience.
