Also, by taking all the money that was in the tin she didn't just take back money that she put in, she was actually taking money that everyone else had put in and wanted to give to OPs girlfriend. Isn't that downright stealing no matter how you look at it? Shouldn't she have gotten a reprimand in her file for that at the very least? I mean really she stole money that did not belong to her and at the company I work for she would have been fired for theft.

@@Flammifleure that's true and definitely in the beginning they couldn't have proved it but then later on she admitted it, didn't she? She said something about she did them a favor because now everyone is baking and she also complained about how they were treating her so that's kind of an admission of guilt. But maybe she was some kind of manager so they couldn't really reprimand her?

I live on a cul-de-sac, which is a dead end, but one of our neighbors had a teen son who just got his license. Where we live the speed limit is 10 but this kid would drive super fast still and would accelerate the most when he reached the cul-de-sac where everyone's kids were always playing on their bikes. My mother and I yelled at him multiple times but he wouldn't slow down. We told my husband, a 6' 4'' fully tattooed man who is built like a truck, and when he found out what this kid was doing he started going out with the kids waiting for him to speed by. Like clockwork here comes the kid speeding when out of what felt like nowhere my husband rushes to the car slamming his hand on the trunk as he sped by shouting for him to "slow down"! and followed the kid as he parked in the drive screaming that there were kids playing! This caught the attention of his mother finally and she started laying into him which deescalated my husband seeing it would be taken care of after she threatened to take the keys! Not sure who scared him the most but he started driving really slow by our house after that! I also think others in the neighborhood gained the courage to tell his mother about his speeding after that too!

They parked their vehicles around him in such a was as to prevent him from leaving and, since they came back very late he had lots of time to fume. I love baking as well, and always bring the stuff to work, especially if it's a birthday, or if we're in for long days, etc. A new manager loved trying to test his control, and told me to stop. At first, it was valid. There was Covid spreading again, and the cafeteria was closing. So, I stopped bringing in food. When the cafeteria opened up again, people could eat together, and the department head started bringing in donuts for everyone, I figured I could bring in my treats. I even had them individually wrapped.
My manager thew a hissy fit. He bitched at every one (especially the men, thinking they'd relate more). The funniest thing was he bitched to another team WHILE they were eating the cookies I made.
His boss eventually told him to lay off it. He told dickwad that if they can trust me to make injectable drugs, they can trust me not to use spoiled eggs.

Where I used to work we would have inservices on equipment the facility was considering purchasing. The sales rep would always bring treats. Usually this happened during the day shift, but they would bring sufficient for the night shift to have some.
One time the empty container was in the trash but the bagels were nowhere in sight. We just figured day shift got greedy. Then the containers of cream cheese were discovered in the veg bin of the fridge.
My coworker was on a mission then.
She found half a dozen bagels in a bag inside an equipment cabinet and saw red! None of us wanted them but that wasn't the issue (they were sugary, she was diabetic, we other two don't like sweet bread).
Still, if they just left them, they would have had them.
Because of that, she proceeded to pour salt into the bag. Not enough to be obvious, but I heard the reaction was hilarious.

When that kid started racing his GT up and down the streets, the police should have been called immediately. When the neighbor's dog was run over, they should have reported it to the police. With kids playing along that street, that kid is major lucky none were hit by his wreckless driving. Had that happened, he'd be without his precious car for several years. Of course, he'd be without a lot for several years. That the kid freaked out when he saw the fake kid op placed, and however much he had to drink, caused him to crash, does show he did look out for kids. Story 4, the bus: I think Karen was doing all that to OP to make OP blow up at her so she can play the victim card to try to get something free from the bus company while also "teaching" a lesson to someone who Karen is racist towards.
And Karen is lucky that I wasn't OP as I would have timed my vomiting for when Karen's mouth was open and I would have aimed first at her face and then down towards her lap, then Karen can get a taste of "justice".
Story 6: I would have let Karen get the charges plus I would have called a complaint against that officer for the whole "be a man" BS. Or I would have said "Oh you want me to be a man? Okay, Karen I will drop the charges in exchange for $200." And if the cop tried say something more i would tell him that this is me being a man, a business man, and unless he wants a complaint of un-professionalism filed with his CO he best let Karen decide between handcuffs or having to hand over part of her weekly party allowance from daddy.
Story 8: I would have also paid for a 1 year subscription to a gay porno magazine service and also signed the guy up for male enhancement materials/samples to be sent there. And depending on how much this got to me I might even send her flowers with a note that says "Thanks for fun, you made my trip so much better ;) Love DF" and have the roses arrive after the guy gets home from one of his business trips.

Last story - yep. Some people aren’t happy unless they know they defeated the “competition” in a relationship… regardless of whether not the competition cares.
It happened to me a couple of decades ago. I met a girl who wanted to fight with me for trying to steal her husband. I’d gone out with him *once* before they’d even met but … somehow she honestly believed it was somehow current wanted him and I was actively perusing him. She openly spoke about pans to “kick my butt” if I tried anything else with him… 🙄
Her one-sided competition was so intense that, after she started cheating on that same husband (go figure), she was practically gleeful about sleeping with one of my exes. Kinda like “you tried to steal my man so I’ll steal yours” I guess.
But unfortunately for her it didn’t give her the fight she apparently wanted. If anything I kinda felt bad for my ex, especially since he seemed ashamed.

the Mustang story has a famiiar plot to something that happened where we live. A high school student didn`t want to park in the high school lot (long lines getting out of the school) so he parked across the highway (accessed by a walker`s tunnel under the highway. He always drove away from the area he parked in like a fookin` madman. People were fed up with this (elementary school near the houses he parked by) and started blasting his actions on social media. The moron continued his wanna be fast and furious driving! Finally several of the parents decided to confront the idiot and coordinated a meet when high school got out. The sheriff`s office got wind of the parents plan and asked them to stand down, that they would take care of it. (several complaints had been called in to the sheriff`s office but nothing had been done)
The kid blasted down road, and a deputy just happened to be shooting radar on that street. Kid was pulled over, given several tickets and his father was contacted. Kid never returned to the area he had been terrorizing. Pretty sure the insurance surcharges from the tickets made the kid regret his actions.
