I don’t really understand why this list is so incomplete. Gimli is equally as good as KOM if not better while Bard/ 3:36 Aragorn II, Eomer are alternatives and Isildur/Boromir are alternatives for Gil-Galad. GTG is also viable.
This is what i consider the best, not the full list of al the commanders you can play on the game, the video cals "Best Formation" and for me this is the one, you disagree? nice we can talk about differente formation, but about the porpuse not, couse the intention of the video is clear in my opinion.
You talk about Gimli in the role of KOM, but you place on the some spot 2 complitly different commander, one is a full DD, the other is taken as Sup/DD(Hybrid).
So no gilmli can't make what kom do for the team, where you have already Dain and Beaorn you don't need commit in one more full dd, is simply better go for counter what counter your main 2 coms, the cc.
Some for Eomer, is a DD.
Isildur is good but is inferior then Then Gtw as support role.
GtG as F2P level for be good need alot more investment then a Gil R0 Naked, couse that is what you need for have a good gil, on gandalf you have a scale, and is not worth invest on GtG when you have a better invest to do on GtW.
Boromir Evasion is just inferior to gil, and have no reson to be consider an alternative to them.
This are all the reason of my choise, i hope i'm clear enought :)
what I_Am_Bowi might ask is that : 90% of the players know who the best formation is, we want alternative for the commanders we do not have, like in place of Dain and Beor ,Gimli, in place of GTW,GTG or Falgin if you play dwarves , Isildur in place of KoM...... etc. whit the T2 commanders for F2P and low spenders replacing the 6 commanders above!
If everyone really knew this, I wouldn't receive dozens of private messages on discord and on all my social networks where they've been asking me exactly for this video for weeks XD

I base myself on what the majority of people ask me and after having responded to the same messages dozens and dozens of times, I understand that it is a topic of common interest and I make a video to allow me not to have to write an explanation in private and link a video directly.
Players with little or no knowledge of the game are the majority, don't base your point of view on the people you know but on the entire game community, including those who don't write on discord in public channels, or even on TH-cam , but who only plays and doesn't talk to anyone....casuals are 90%.@@barabamoto126

@@ombrartw I don’t really see KOM as a unique role. He is a DD that is outclassed by Gimli and his support is not really that good

Is not GtG an option at F2p?
It is but Gil in my opinion is the Prime choise.
t2 gimli, gtg are decent f2p replacements for dain and gtw... frodo (needs taunt greatbeast or gondor t4) or falgin (full dwarf squad) can work as 2nd support... aragon or legolas as 2nd dps (or shadow or lurtz for nrp) would be a f2p full t2 squad...

Thanks Ombra ...do you think Gil is still the best option in a formation of Dain, 2nd Damage Dealer and GtW or might Frodo/Sam be an better option? I'm playing KOM, so I get swans. I thought possibly Frodo/Sam might be a better choice than Gil with all the damage mitigation he has innately plus buffs from gear and GtW.. I am don't really care about damage. Gil will get the guaranteed 3rd round stun (but can't predict who will get this) plus the 70% dodge, but that is only in the 1st 2 rounds .... and he will for sure do more dmg than Frodo/Sam. Curious on your thoughts.
If you have swan you can run Frodo, you gonna have alot of protection for your 2 dps.
I think is a good option run them in the current meta and with this choise, you can also run Tank unit and not elf on the 2 dps, so more sustain :)
What is the best way for Evil RP faction to defeat Gil-galad elf formations?
Sauron for stole buffs, also Rw skill of the nazgul that apply in pre battle and don't get evoid, tank unit for survive the first 2 round and good dps after round 3.

on nrp dain, gtw, beorn and sauron work great... my t2 team is gtg, shadow gimli and lurtz...i might consider to replace lurtz with frodo if i decide to run greatbeast or tauntrolls at some point. need to do more pvp test with this 2nd team....
Lurtz have a soft cap very strong, but get out scale at very whaled level i think, maybe if you are very very whaled you should benefit on have frodo for tank for your shadow and Gimli.

Where is bard??
I consider them as an Hybrid commander, if you wanna play them for me you should replace KOM, but for me is an inferior alternative to them, considering the test the community do.
I would say if KOM is the best Hybrid bard should be Rank 2, rank 3 at Kraken level.
F2P 🥺🥺 Dont get me wrong but i am strugling to get any of the main commanders as a low spender if i dont luckily pull one of them, instead i pulled Thranduil and the guy with the golden mask (i was too furious to even read his name because i am good faction and he is not even a good Evil commander) But to be honest i get what you mean, that would be an F2P, probably 10 seasons in the game, my poor Season 3 account is barely a good tiler as F2P. Side note: Thank you so much for all your content, you are doing great ✌️
Yes F2p, in the version where you can have at lest R3 commander, that team work very good.
And is what a f2p have to aim for on long terms invest.
