The Late Show with Stephen Colbert is the premier late night talk show on CBS, airing at 11:35pm EST, streaming online via Paramount+, and delivered to the International Space Station on a USB drive taped to a weather balloon. No one could ever replace Jon Stewart...and Trevor Noah didn't try to. He became another irreplaceable part of our hearts.

Trevor WAS the show. I understand life must go on and careers change. He is missed.
But we can still watch him do what he loves.
Jon Stewart was too, at one point.
And people didn't think Trevor could do it.
Now folks miss him as much as they missed Jon.
And the other comment is right! Now Trevor can do more of what he loves!

Trevor is one of those rare Rags to Riches stories where the person maintained their Humility & their Humanity. I so love that man❤️ He inspires me to be better...
I am amazed that he flew home every 3rd weekend! So he didn't let the show sweep him away and rearrange all his priority. And later he kept writing and touring stand up too. Maybe he was so balanced in his responses because he didn't give it everything. He kept a part of himself to himself.
I would add one thing, rags to riches who's extremely intelligent, almost on a gifted level. He's brilliant. Jon Stewart was trying to better America by passing the torch to Trevor.

Trevor Noah's thoughts on missing the people and vibe of 'The Daily Show' really resonated with me. It's clear that he truly loved working with the team and being a part of that creative environment. However, I can also understand why he doesn't miss the grind - being a late-night host is no easy feat and the constant pressure to come up with new content can be exhausting. Overall, great insight from Trevor and a reminder of the behind-the-scenes work that goes into a successful show.
We just finished touring South Africa Zimbabwe and Trevor is the favorite son here.
I am still in mourning over the loss of Trevor Noah on the Daily Show. I will probably never have a chance to see him in person 😢😢😢

Sign up for his alerts and get pre-sale tickets. Got them direct and not through ticketmaster so the fees were much less. My ticket was $50 and there were cheaper seats. Just saw him last night, first night of his tour in Atlanta, he was amazing!!!!

I know Trevor equated “the grind” to “planning a wedding everyday” but his examples sounds a lot more like what a teacher does. All of the things he specified applies to what a teacher does everyday. Thank an educator for the constant grind (and the constant disrespect from the general public).
Teacher are underpaid and under appreciated Everywhere except some European countries, while they are the pillar of civilization and prosperity for the future generations.
That being said, some teachers are unfit to teach at all, they have no patience nor a good morals to teach, still hats of to good teachers out there, humanity won't reach this era without you.
"You have to enjoy the grind." So true. For years I worked 7 days a week, 12+ hours a day, for months on end, sometimes for over a year straight, without a day off.
But I was able to retire at 49 and take care of my parents before they passed away. RIP Mom & Dad!
May God bless you for take care of your family. I hope and pray you get reward the same care by God.

A lot of people talk a lot of shit about Trevor, but I've never understood it. No, he's not Jon Stewart, but I'm so glad he isn't. He brought his own vision to the show, much in the same way Jon did. And he nailed it. I was just as sad to hear of his departure as I was when Jon left. Shit, maybe more. But I look forward to what he does next, and I look forward to the future of the show. If nothing else, the guest hosts should be a hoot.
