My late grandfather build three tractors from junk car and truck parts in 1942. Some the first two & kept & used the third for the next 40 years. Model A/AA/TT on an Oakland (Pontiac) frame and a Twin Cities Tractor cast Iron radiator. Not a doodlebug - purpose built. I like your efforts they remind me of good times
You are without a shadow of a doubt one of the most entertaining people on this web. I look forward to your latest video and project and I agree with the others, LONGER is better. Cheers from an old VW mechanic in Canada North
That car was originally a four door town sedan you can tell by the cowl has a moulding similar to a 30 31. If it had a coupe pillar could be a coupe Tudor or a pickup can. All model a frames are the same with the exception of aa trucks which are longe and heavier. There are many small different of the four years of production. Enjoyed the video
Sounds like you know what you’re talking about. It amazes me what some people know about Ford products from the ‘30’s. But, hey, it was America’s car, wasn’t it?
I'm super unknowledgable about cars and car work, but I love to sit and watch you work on these old cars. I envy the workability of these crazy old cars.

Love your videos.I am 68 years old an I rember some these old ones sitting garages of elderly neigbors when I was young,, Love your channel from Maine.
Your calm and collected, methodical approach to these old machines is what keeps me coming back for more. Love the videos, and yes, in this case more is good. Liking the newer longer format.
OK Mr. Dustin Jennings. You sure lucked out on this one. It rolled over with the belt and the belt wasn't even going over generator! Ha! That's crazy easy. When I was a kid learning about cars, one of my neighbors had a Doodlebug Tractor. It had an extra steering wheel on the passenger side that wrapped a cable up to raise and lower the implement on the back or front. They also had horses, so when they got the Doodlebug stuck, they'd get the horses and pull it out. Great fun watching Jennings, you have an amazing ability to "get everything right" so it'll run. That takes some real reasoning power. Thank you, ben/ michigan
I'm working on waking up a 1950 GMC 350 farm truck thats been parked since 89'. It has the straight 6 and its locked up. I figured out a neat trick to getting diesel into the cylinders. I used a 2 gallon weed sprayer bottle, filled it with diesel and pumped it up. It sprayed perfectly into the spark plug holes with a small stream and no mess. Love your videos and thank you for your hard work.
I love watching these old engines get fixed up. I watch other channels who deal with modern cars and they just have a sea of plastic and 1500 hoses on every engine. It’s refreshing to see something simple working.
Another huge fan here from the UK just love this channel but here in the UK a doodlebug is a ww2 flying bomb so not sure what you guys mean in the good old US of A❤

Mr Jennings.. “Will this pile of rust run again after 75 years” (purrs like a kitten). Ford… “will this ecoboost engine start after two weeks” (locked solid).
Longer videos with more of the problem solving shown, not cut away when there's an issue and restarted after you've solved it..... the problem solving is a major part of your channel.
Almost 300k well deserved subscribers. It is always a nice surprise when you post, you really make the best videos of bringing these old beasts back to life. Yes, the longer videos are so much better.

Removed eveything from a '28 Tudor which had been sitting as long or longer than this one. I stored the parts away. Funny thing is, I tested the old starter, and it ran like new! Your videos are much enjoyed...keep 'em coming!
No other car revival channel on TH-cam is doing revivals on shit like this. Most people wouldn't look twice at that thing and he's out here getting it started.

There's a thing you might want to look at getting: intended for temporary fueling for motorcycle engines, I use one for a lot of engines I work on. It's a plastic bottle, about a quart or so in capacity, with a bail to hang it from, a shutoff valve and a rubber tube that slips over the carburetor inlet. That'd free up a hand and be a bit safer than squirting fuel down a tube or into the inlet directly. This is the one I got from the Jungle site: BikeMaster Auxiliary Fuel Tank EC-900N.
Another great video! You keep cranking them out, and I'll keep watching them. I really wish that I could find somebody like you around here, because I'd love to have the experience of bringing some of these old classics back to life
