But seriously when I first watched the music video I cried without even knowing what the lyrics were. It was the same when I first heard "Rise" and then watched his 2018 live from his Sirius concert tour and then looked up the lyrics. This man seriously needs more people to realise just how amazing both his writing and his singing is. He is truly art and I just cannot get over it. I also find it hilarious when teenage shawols tell us older shawols that we're too old to stan SHINee or when fans of 3rd and 4th gen (**cough** army **cough**) call SHINee old when their band members are either a little older, the same age or a little younger than Taemin. For the younger shawols, SHINee was made to be geared towards older women (Replay literally saying noona (big sis/older woman) you are pretty), not to mention that they debuted in 2008. With that in mind of course 80% of their fanbase is going to be over 30 considering that 80% of the members are over 30. Also not to mention that if you look at a lot of Taemin's solo songs, they are very, very sexual in nature. If you are under 18 and rocking out to "Thirsty" someone needs to call your parents. Here in the US, I haven't heard men or women speaking so frankly and positively about "older" anything.

About Taemin I have to say that he is amazing as an artist. This song is so beautiful, these japanese releases just hit different. One of my most favorite songs ever. The first time I saw the MV and heard the song, I remember being teary eyed and feeling this huge ache in my heart, all without understanding the lyrics. Taemin has this ability to convey emotions just with his voice. The moment I saw him thru a reaction video of Danger and Want, I have never thought of Taemin as other than an amazing artist. And the more I learned about him, the more impressed I became. He is simply phenomenal. Thank you for this lovely and genuine reaction. I and my other Shawol friends liked to pretend that we are not worried about it, but know deep down that we will sorely miss this adorable man when goes to enlist in the military.

He wrote this and sang it with a pleading heart you can hear it. I know the content is hard for us shawols but sometimes I'm afraid that the artist sees little views and thinks there work was not that good. So ones that have low views are the ones I pay attention to. Knowing it's about jonghyun makes the song even more amazing to me. He poured out his heart in this song you can feel it. Then the views are low so it may seem to the artist that they didn't convey or perform or sing it that well. Sometime check this song out I think it shows his pleading heart in it. Rewatched this reaction today and it hit me so hard. You talked about how worried we were about Taemin enlisting because of how truly alone he will be. Now we know that we had reason to worry. I am so heartbroken for what he is going through. I just hope this sweet soul is able to get the love and support that he needs.
