But the British left in 1947. In over 70 years, most wildlife would recover. And the main harm since 1947 is coming from growing population and industry, plus greed of locals. In 1947 Indian got 340 millions. Now 4+ times more. Imagine having 1 village instead of 4, or one plantation instead of 4. Plenty of room for elephants - with less people.

The Population of Animals has grown significantly. Thanks to several Government initiatives that made to protect wild. I am 100% sure India will definitely revive the mighty Cheetahs population in our country. Several new ventures like Vantara by Ambani Family will help to protect these beautiful animals.

Beautiful video. In Alberta they built land bridges to cross the highway for the local wildlife to pass over without injuries.
In india we have 117km elevated highway in Pench tiger reserve , animals can travel freely below the bridge without having to find pass in the highway
