I got the global version for £589, and for that price it's a steal. Really good phone, superb build quality, and if like me you're not bothered about a massive telephoto lens, it's got every other feature you could want. Very impressed

I got mine for £450 from wowcamera and I sold my S20 Ultra 5G - and got £405 change ;) - and it's better in many ways! Mine lasts me about 2 days but I have the Xiaomi 55W wireless charger too which is not as fast as the wired but it fast enough :) Coral is currently £600 but the Grey is £508 in the UK at this time

5:08 - how did you get 9 hours of screen on time? I am happy when I get to 7 hours of SoT. I bought Mi 10 (8/256) a month ago and never got over 7hrs. I am not a heavy user just ordinary day to day stuff, social media and couple of work apps Microsoft outlook, Microsoft Teams.

I have an iPhone XS max work phone and a Xiaomi mi 10 personal phone. I decided to upgrade the Xiaomi to a Galaxy Note 10 plus....and.....well it turned out it wasn't an upgrade after all. I know the Galaxy Note 10 is an older phone and it shows. The Xiaomi has a better screen, 90 Hz refresh, the best speakers I've heard on a phone (better than my iPhone), an amazing camera, excellent haptics, better battery life, the list goes on. And now Xiaomi has MIUI 12 it simply transforms the phone. The Mi 10 is the best Android phone I've owned to date. You can get marginally better phones but be prepared to pay twice the price. And forget about the Mi 10 pro version there's just not enough differences to justify the price.
Mi 10 £799 in the UK on mi store, OnePlus 8 Pro is £799 on Amazon. If I was spending my own money on either phone I personally prefer the OnePlus for the UI, not to mention the 120hz or qhd screen.
I have always been close to buy the mi phones since the mi 8 with transparent back but have always come down to my love for OnePlus so it's been OnePlus 3t, 6 and 7 pro and want the 8 Pro but im can't switch again so the 7 Pro have to do a bit longer

gone out and brought the one plus 8 pro this morning was a toss up between the mi10 and the 8pro..got the 8 pro for £645 so pleased about that...they are both my top phones...in my research of the net...lets see if i made the right choice...good video....but you never every say anything about bloatware...that was my deal breaker between the 2...as i know every phone has it..but the oneplus just seemed to have less of it when i researched it...even less that the samsung...mmmm...something to think about
Where did you get that incredible deal from?....£645, gosh that’s even a better price than the one Plus 8. I have the One Plus 5T and that has no bloatware whatsoever and their oxygen is almost stock Android.....so I think you have a got real deal with that price
@@davidjohn0505 banggood from china ..as oneplus phones and others like the MI range come out in china and the India markets much cheaper than the USA and here and Europe..and most of the time earlier....but this is due to the flooded market of phones in china and india that they sell cheaper there than here.....i got to say this beware where you buy..as many fakes are also on the market from there......but after checking with oneplus ect and doing my home work i found that gearbest is the one of the main overseas supplier for their brand and with the MI brand also...and also checked if i brought off them i could if any problems arises with the phone under the guarantee be sent to oneplus here in the UK.. which was all correct...and at the moment they have a sale on such brands...some 200 pounds cheaper than here...so all good...check banggood web site...the uk site is ok to use....it might take 3 weeks to get here but is that not worth the wait...right the thing here...they sell the phone with 2 sorts of ROMS for the phone..thats the programs that run the phone telling it such things as network and other things like apps ect on it..one a china one...for use in china and india..and another called global ROMS,..,so you buy the one with the global ROM that is for USA and here and Europe...that is the one oneplus will send out if you buy off them here at inflated uk price lol..even if you did get the china ROM one..you could in fact goto the uk oneplus site and download the global rom from there using your computer ..easy to do they show you on there step by step..dont use 3rd party apps to do this...and thats the way to get phones here cheaper...like i say beware of other selling sites..and of course ebay...i do trust banggood as been using them for years...but on this matter i did do a lot of digging just in case..lol...hope that explains it..

I can get the oneplus 8 for 550 dollars, which makes the MI 10 at around 700 dollars not even worth it. And add to that the better software experience, and the oneplus 8 becomes a no brainer. But that doesn't mean this is not a great phone, it's just they got the pricing terribly wrong.
Reasonable price? Last year's Mi 9 was 449€ upon release. I don't see features worth an extra 350€ for Mi 10. Not even 5G modem. Xiaomi is now in a place where they are no longer my first choice. A lot of competiton in 700-1000€ smartphone market. I now can consider OnePlus or Samsung easily.
I have a question what network operator do you use? I currently have xiaomi mi8 in the three uk network and I have a strangely weak 4g / lte internet .. where the iphone 8plus was 30-40mb / s there xiaomi mi8 has 6-8 mb / s .... How's your phone?

Camera performance isn’t primarily my main interest, what really matters to me is nice interface, battery life and nice design / built quality.

Yeah, K20 Pro/Mi 9T Pro is the highlight phone for Xiaomi in 2019. But production seems to have stopped as stocks are running out.
