The theme for maa kali used in dkdm was very very very good and spine chilling and the when mahakali comes running and jumps and cuts the head of raktabija was really very fierceful. And its promo was also very powerfull
Also the get up of mahakali was also very excellents really assuming that she lives in the श्मसान and wores only lion skin hands black in colour .

Sonarika as kali potrayed wildness, anger, bloodlust and insanity .. uncontrolled ... Look at the expression on her face when she cuts off raktabeej's head in the promo. It portrayed unhinged, unbridled insanity, madness and happiness. The smile as the blood splaterred on her face gave goosebumps
No pooja did very well as mahakali no doubt, but her portrayal as more based towards anger than anything else. Its was beautiful but lacked the oomph factor .. maybe the editirs did not add it.
Also, whenever sonarika took kali form, the gods were more terrified than respectful and happy. They were like "oh no, there she is again. What destruction will she bring now. Lets hide". But pooja when she became kali, it was like "maata has become kali, she will destroy all obstacles now and help us. Lets watch from a safe distance" .... In one she represented horror and unctilled instability but in the other she was the last hope .... These are purely my feelings and not meant for all to accept 😅
@@picnic1123 well described 🙌 ...dkdm makers were ahead of its time, nowadays mythology show makers have brought all the dhumtananana factor in the show which has reduced the leads to mere mythological characters than God and Godess themselves. Every events in dkdm, be it goddess sati death, goddess Parvati entry, shiv Parvati wedding, Kali episode, Ganesh kartikeya birth, samundra manthan and many more, all of these episodes are sure to give goosebumps but current serials couldn't.
