OPM1961 They are a very fun Elevator system and their technology was VERY ADVANCED and HIGH TECH for it's time. They were the first fully computerized elevators with no relays whatsoever. (Elevonic 101 was computerized but it still used some relays)
Wow I would have fun riding these elevators! These actually go at 700 fpm but still a decent speed. The low rise elevators at the Sky Tower at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, CT has Otis Elevonic 411 Series 4 from 2002 that also go at 700 fpm and have some very fast acceleration and deceleration, the acceleration and deceleration is probably similar to these elevators
Ok, that’s really really fast acceleration. Assuming the distance between each elevator landing is just above 3 metres, and given that the elevator takes about 5 seconds to go up 3 floors or a distance of about 10 metres, the acceleration is about 1.5m/s^2 or 5ft/s^2 which is very very fast. If only elevators today have acceleration and deceleration that’s as fast and all have pre doors, then lots of precious time would be saved. I bet some crappy generics which have the same top speed as this otis would take more than double the time from when the doors close till it opens if they were to travel the same distance due to the slow acceleration and deceleration and lack of pre doors
Their not 411, the hotel was built in 1989, and 411s started in 1991. Plus, 411s don’t have as much leveling. They accelerate quickly, like you said these do.
But did 411s exist on Lexans? I’m pretty sure they are 401s just because of the doors, the amount of classic leveling, and the quick acceleration. PAelevators thinks they are 101s, but I think 101s were discontinued.
I love the elevators that up and down so hard because i love the feeling when my guts just sink in you know and that didn’t sound right!
I was gonna think this is from 1986 🤣🤣 1986 was a BIG year for Elevators. BIG year for Elevators like these!!
Oh Charlotte!
They're really fun to ride !
This place looks beautiful.
(skips directly to 5:46)
I’m starting to like Elevonic 401 more.

Andrew also rode those too.
I’m sorry that you had to deal with people swearing in public places that’s ridiculous

Bonus feature: There are also Hitachi escalators located somewhere.
Vancity Elevators Really? Didn't know that!! Cool!
Deez are the ones that were just modded, right?
Yup!
These are the ones getting the Series M2 Mod
These elevators beep when you press the button and they beep when they go past each floor
Awesome videos epic accent
Do the rest of them have the voice silenced
One of the lifts in this hotel have a grandma voice from the 1980's.
Some announcements are custom made like "4th floor, restaurant level".
Yes they do or it is broken
The elevators in the Yacht and Beach Club are 401s, right?
AdazElevatorz 411 actually, I think

AdazElevatorz 411 actually started in 1989
And those 2 hotels were completed in 1990. I'm friends with an Otis guy in the Orlando area, that's how I know all of this

Film the elevators at Hotel Vancouver Fairmont
He did already.
This elevator uses the British flooring system
I’m very eager to film these!
Well, after you uploaded this, I went here on the next day, lol. Although that was last month.
