Our time had reached its zenith, and it is now over. Everything not just FTX, Stock including 401Ks, are suffering from the recession and crashes. My $750K retirement equity portfolio is losing money. Because of inflation, I keep losing. Similar to how Rome fell under its despotic emperors, this world will also. I apologize if you are considering retirement but are concerned that your pension won't cover the rising expense of living. There are terrible foreign policies worldwide, as well as disastrous regulatory, fiscal, and energy policies.
I think it's especially difficult for people who are retired or about to retire. My apologies to everyone who retired during this time after putting in all those years of work just to lose everything to a problem you weren't to blame for.

He should not have ever generated excess FTT tokens, out of thin air, and then given them freely to FTX and Alameda, to use as an asset / collateral to cover-up the Alameda Trading LOSSES. SBF turned FTX into a Ponzi Scheme, such that it could only survive, if the value of the FTT token kept increasing ( ie new & more buyers of FTT tokens forever ). He replaced hard cash with risky FTT tokens. And now the FTT Token has decreased to essentially $0.00 in value ...

There's a video by Bitboy that names numerous tokens that Alameda was shorting. Thus FTX then got shorted not managing the risks.

BNB is used to pay transaction fees on the BNB chain by users of Bep 20 protocol projects, Ethereum clone with cheaper transaction fees, much cheaper, in fact BNB holders also get disount on trading fees in Binance. BNB token has outperformed both Ethereum and Btc in the last few years. BNB is thus not just a token like FTT, but a token like Ethereum that has its own blockchain with many projects on it.
How is it that FTX never dented my radar, that I was immune, this when I own a bunch of BTC? Alone the way SBF was throwing money around should have been enough for anyone to understand he was really throwing customer money around.

It was always fishy how these guys could offer such high interest rates for crypto on their exchange. Turns out, it was. It was a bribe for them to play with your money to try to get a higher return.

Even ponzi schemes can run for a while with no one knowing especially if valuations are propped up by new investors, but when things cool that is when someone has to pay up or shut their doors.

90% of the world saw this coming. The 10% that are young and woke consistently ridiculed anyone who doubted their cleverness by giving intelligent responses like "ok boomer". Have a look at the smug and vitriolic comments on any of the Dave Ramsay videos, for example, where he warned people against crypto, and you will see literally thousands of arrogant young assholes calling him a dinosaur, declaring that he was too stupid to understand crypto, etc. It's ridiculous to say no one saw this coming, or that no one foresaw the end of the tulip mania back in the day. There is a lot more to shake out yet.

The whole point of trading in off-shore exchanges is being able to use extreme amounts of leverage. Leverage in the United States is regulated.
CZ orchestrated the whole thing by dumping all his FTT. He knew what he was doing and he knew it would affect thousands if not millions of people. I’m not saying that SBF is not guilty of fraud because he is but CZ could have handled the situation differently but he wanted to put SBF out of business no matter the cost to other people. CZ is to blame as well!

He doesn't say Binance has 1:1 customer assets. Need to ask him this specific question. Also need to ask him, how they verify funds, and demonstrate this? Also ask him about the sketchy shuffling around of funds when they do their audits. Ask the hard probing questions!

Totally agree. There is extreme utility for cryptocurrency… you should actually look into fundamentals rather than just keep that opinion from an outward trad fi view. Projects such as Morpheus Network will be the future of supply chains and their token $MNW is required to validate their system. Other projects like $XRP, $QNT, $POLYGON all allow faster and more efficient transactions than traditional finance

If an asset as BTC are traded on different markets/Exchanges.. How does Exchanges handle transferts between them??
If a user by 1000Coins at a price $1.00 on Exchange1 than is small and does not have as much volume as Exchange2
Then Price goes up 100% so now its worth $2000 since Exchange2 has a lot of volume and price spike.
How can Exchange1 then have liq for this?

Question is any user fiat currency converted into any other asset without user approval? If it is, then BNB no different than FTT. If not, then Binance is legit which I highly doubt. If the token they hold goes under, they will have the same issue as FTX.

Nope, binance is legit. They autoconvert stablecoins to BUSD which is arguably safest stablecoin and that's it.

This is starting to look like Mr Zhao saw a chance to take down his competition and took it which will turn out for the better. Only problem now is that the shady practices that Ftx was doing by creating their own token and leveraging it to make money seems to be something that most of these exchanges are doing. So now any exchange that has their own tokens will be under scrutiny including Binance. Contasion is spreading to everyone.
