Carli pintop suspension, best suspension on the market for fords. You can clear 37x12.50 toyos on a leveling kit easily. Bronze wheels would look sick with the azure grey. If you add 37s I’d recommend adding amp steps so Sabrina and the gals (and Calvin) can get in pretty easily. Truck looks great man! Congratulations
please listen to this tj
And it’ll out perform a raptor off-road.
I second this, I have the pin top kit on my f250 and it rides like a dream
I 4th or 5th this…? This is the jam, do all of the above and enjoy the truck.
The only problem is that the tire rubs with a leveling kit on 37s at full lock
TJ got bamboozled with a Lariat Tremor when he thought he was getting a Platinum Tremor
Hey Teej! If you’re thinking of adding lights of any kind (fog, grille, heads, tails, etc…) I 100% recommend Morimoto! Most of their lights are plug and play and they are fantastic quality!
Congratulations teej!! Honestly sucks that I’m so behind on videos. Life has been rough. I hope your channel and life has been amazing. Love your videos.
Great truck!
To answer your questions,
-Tremor is an Off-Road Package.
-If you'd like all the bells and whistles, go Platinum/Limited next time!
Can't wait to see what you have in store for the F-150!
I think Teej will be trading in this truck in a week or two... The Tremor package is an off-road package. You should opt for the Limited or Platinum if you want all the bells/whistles and upgrades. The Lariat is almost the base level, doesn't look like yours is spec'd with bed power either. Correct me if I am wrong but the Tremor package reduces the tow capacity as well, I believe this truck spec'd the way it is will tow less than your Chevy you sold, which may be a problem...
They hustled him on this truck and apparently lied to him saying that it was the nicest one that ford made. They definitely took advantage that he didn’t know trucks and sold him the truck they had. He’s comparing it to a high country and it hurts
@@ismav3690 Yeah for sure. The comment the dealer made about pulling a Chevy out of a ditch at the start too 💀 Sure bud "Found On Road Dead", I would've gotten the 23/24 Chevy personally but I've had Chevy's my whole life and never had a problem, my 06 Silverado 2500HD is running fine at 350k miles.
Definitely got finessed, it hurt when he said he didn't even test drive it yet and the 2 biggest features he wanted it doesn't have, digital rearview and the panoramic roof.
@@seaghan Ford is better than chevy. has been and always will be. its why they outsell them by a ridiculous margin.
@@seaghani go back and forth between GMC and ford every time i trade. Gm trucks always give me hellacious problems. Ive rarely ever had problems with f150s but i just keeping going back to gmc because they look to damn good and the 5.3 it cheaper then dogshit to do stuff with
@@zachcameron4301 I guess everyone has different experiences. My Chevy has been problem free aside from a transmission rebuild at 270k, other than that just normal service intervals. To be honest as long as you maintain your vehicle either truck will last you a long time
You should definitely get an intake on top of the level kit, wheels, tires. It would give you some sick induction and turbo noise
I'm fairly new to this channel, only been really paying attention for a few weeks now, but I'm really liking the content. Congrats on the new truck my dude!!
I still can’t believe the fact that he got basically a base model with an appearance package 31:13
They scammed him, they told him it was the top of the line package, he even mentioned in the video he’s not really a truck guy, kind of hurts but the dealers only want the money
Yeah they really deceived him, that Alan guy who sold him that lied I hope he trades it in and gets the higher trim
Also the package that is similar to the High Country is the Platinum. The Lariat is like the lowest luxury trim you can get from Ford Truck. You're missing a few things on that one, like the panoramic sunroof, power outlets in the bed, retractable side steps, and some other stuff. The Lariat is usually kinda the bang for buck package in the luxury trim. Tremor is an offroad package, it upgrades a few suspension items and usually gets different wheels and tires.
Is the Limited not the top of the range for the F250
@@petermcelvogue7521 It might be, they've done different things with the limited badges in the past and used it kind of as a higher end package but then reserved some of the super high end options for the Platinum or King Ranch. It's been a year or 2 since I looked into it completely. The Limited and Platinum are way up there though.
@@Dougie085 Don't forget the King Ranch is platinum level of luxury but for wannabe farm boys
@@chadnijim7323 yeah lol
Limited is the top dog for luxury, but even within the different trims there are different options of add ons and a lot of these trucks at the lots don’t have all the add ons he should order his next truck so he gets everything he wants and nothing he doesn’t while getting rid of the markup. Mark ups shouldn’t be paid anymore there’s tons of dealers that can’t sell anything due to their pricing sometimes it’s worth traveling to pickup a new truck from a dealer that’s selling at or slightly bellow msrp.
in all the years I've been watching you, I've never been so disappointed
I use to do tires you can fit 37 inch tires with just a level kit.
37 inch tires on 20 inch wheels will for sure change the height of the truck with out really installing a Lift kit. And they look really nice!
You should get the higher trim level if you want something like your High Country. The Tremor package is a more off road package and the Limited and Platinum trim would be the best. If you like the Tremor package you can get the Platinum trim with the tremor package, but they sold you a lower trim with the tremor package. it looks like you got the Lariat trim with the Tremor package.
Yea he said that at the beginning, Lariat w/Tremor. But Platinum or Limited would be the higher 2.
Fuel offroad wheels Rebel 6 in Anthracite color in 19in or 20in nothing crazy and definitely wrapped in Nitto's , and a leveling suspension kit from a company called wicked suspension , a front bash bar with the light bar built in , K&N intake and a Magnaflow exhaust nothing crazy but just for that subtle tone and I think that would be the perfect touch 👌
Glad you got the high output 6.7. It's a beast! Best thing about the Ford is the interior and the fact the outside still has the truck shape. Also with the right exhaust it won't be loud, you'll just hear the turbo better. King Ranch, then Platinum is the highest package. Don't level it if you are going to tow unless you add airbags to level it out. If not it'll be squatted...
Limited is higher than Platinum, except you can't get that in the Tremor.

Lariat

Love the truck. A couple upgrades that would set it off.
1. Leveling kit over a lift.
2. 37s w/ 20 inch wheels
3. Electric running boards
4. Maybe a grill guard. It will make the front end look more aggressive.
5. Roof lights
6. Remove or change the “Tremor” sticker with a color match
Overall great looking truck.
17s* u mean
You forgot aftermarket alarm before it ends up in the other TJ 😂. It’ll be moving the new group of asylum seekers before his first oil change if he’s not careful.
@@cadenmartin2849 nah 17s mean way to much sidewall while towing. First thing I noticed when going up in wheel size was how much more stable my trucks were when towing heavy loads. Especially on a 37s inch mud tire.
You forgot the 2 15"s subwoofer
mud terrains are useless for socal deserts and towing, offroading on anything other than a 17 or smaller wheel is good way to blow a tire and have a really rough ride, the deflection you are talking about is only when you are aired way down. @@al1087
Rock lights would be awesome. 4” lift with 37’s on 20’s. Wheels either all black or bronze. Get your headlights and grill paint matched! Solid build
Tint, sticker/badge delete, level kit, 37s with 22x12, exhaust, intake, DONE. Truck is sick Teeg!
Happy Early Birthday Teeg, i hope you and Sabrina have some fun stuff planned this year. Proud of yall.
Methods are hard to beat but Innov8 wheels are super sick if you wanna spend a little more. Carli suspension also makes a ton of good stuff for diesels.
I just put a magna flow cat back exhaust on my truck. It was an overland series and it tucked up the muffler up into the frame so you don’t really see it doesn’t get snagged on anything and to clean look. I also think depending on what size those are, I wouldn’t say anything super crazy on tire size, but definitely some meat and some decent bumpers, front and rear and you can’t go wrong with adding some ditch lights or lights all around 💡
I have a 2005 4runner on 33 ridge grapplers, always love nitro rubber… Baja design lights, maybe even a bed rack or roof rack combo.
I also made the jump from a Chevy to a ford this year! Granted mine was from a 1997 s10 to a 2017 f150, but hey. I love having twin turbos on my V6 now and double the power
We all know a tax write off when we see one😂 nevertheless congrats TJ
The Ford is nice but the new revised GMC Denali Ultimate or AT4 is really sweet. Congrats to you.
Ford has more torque the limited is nicer just depends what you want but I think those Denali ultimates are pretty sexy just can’t get over the mass torque the ford has
Upgraded my 2017 F250 Diesel head lights and tail lights to Morimoto's. Smoked out on the rear. Changed fog lights to Morimoto's 4 bangers.
Carli for suspension and hit up BMC Lights for fog lights and ditch lights. On my 22 F350 Tremor I did a 2.5” leveling kit, put 18x10 -24 wheels and run a 37x13.50r18 tires.
Raptor R build would be crazy, definitely needs to be done 🙏🏼😂
This!!!!
You should get AMP Powersteps those are the side steps that hide when doors are close and come out when they open, just installed them on our RAM 2500 this past weekend
The Tremor is the off-road package and the Lariat is the high-end. Tremor does not include all the Lariat features and that's why your truck didn't have the plugs in the bed, bucket seats, or the moon roof.
37s with a rough country lift and it leveling kit, the lights on top of the roof and a light bar in the front with a after market front bumper
This video was so important, thank you for speaking up.
The truck is clean bro but definitely gotta agree with some of the comments the platinum woulda been the way to go then coulda done nice suspension, wheel and tire setup but i get the whole badass color thing so i dont blame ya haha, but uh definitely like 5-6 inch lift with 22x12 wheels and 37x12.5 R22 tires, heres a couple wheel options:
TIS 544B
American Force Nemesis CC CKH10 22x12 -55
Fuel Arc D797 22x12 -44
D79722209847
American Force Idol SF F107 22x12 -40
F107-2212-5x450-SF
Hope this helps TJ!!
Love it! Let us know if you need some new wheels 😎
Needs a Carli suspension kit hands down (coming from a master ford tech) makes them work the way they should, and not sure if previous generation headlights grill and hood will work but would be a good change as well as amp research running boards some cab roof lights and lastly some wheels and Nitto ridge grapplers
TJ Hunt Awesome Video and Congratulations on taking Delivery of your Absolutely Incredible 2023 Ford F-250 Lariat Tremor and I think you should get some Fuel Forged Wheel and Nitto Ridge Grapplers and I think you should get a Platinum or Limited if you want all the Bells and Whistles and I think you also get a Raptor R for the Channel
I'm excited to see what Obsessed Garage does to your shop in the next couple of months when it gets built
Yes I been waiting for 2 years!!!
OG is working with TJ?
Personally I like the GMC more so over the Chevy but that’s just me. Plus both the front and rear end on the Sierra looks good.
Dam TJ your inspirational man I’m trynna shit out thousands a day on things I like keep up the builds man!
Level kit and tint. That's all you need. Oh, and the LED front emblem.
Teej,
I'll let this slide because I know it is a Section 179 purchase, but comon' man a High County to a Lariat?!
Should of went for the Platinum for sure! Also the High County had Independent from suspension the Tremor has Solid front axles ...
Section 179 purchase 😁 nailed it.
Nice bro. I have a 2023 F150 Tremor in Metallic Grey with the orange accent inside and outside. Your Lariat is missing few features that come standard with the Platinum and Limited. I have an XLT but it got spec out with the moon roof and it has the outlets on the bed. The Tremor makes more sense on the F150 as it is an off road package but on a F250 if you want something similar to your High Country you probably want to go for a Platinum or Limited.
Exhaust for sure, 3 to 4 inch lift with 35’s or 37’s with some fuel or tis off-road wheels, paint matched off road front/rear bumper, keep it clean and simple but also work truck
Carli level on some 37x12.50r17’s and you will love the ride and look… backcountry will ride smoother in rode than the pin top but the pin top will handle more aggressive off road better…. An Toyo over nitto… nitto is a stiff tire in trail graps now ridge grappler would be good
Good work Teej that’s a nice tax write off
I have the new 2023 F350 high output in the same color too but the 2500 AT4x AEV is awesome too
😂 Bro, just watching UTJ for the past couple years and you've just been able to climb and climb and climb and do all these great things. Well, I'm just still sitting super. Great to see but it makes me want to you know do more for myself
Definitely front and rear bumpers to match the steps. And an any level Lift with wheels and a nice new exhaust tip. Maybe even a better looking Grille
I personally wouldn’t lift it. It has its pros for ground clearance. However mechanically if not done properly It will cause more issues in the long run. Ford engineers made it good as stock. The Tremor Off-Road Package comes with a 2-inch front-end lift and shorter air dam, which translate to 10.8 inches of ground clearance, excellent approach and departure angles, and class-leading water fording of 33 inches
For suspension and wheels you should do a Carli Suspension kit with Innov8 wheels. I have seen some insane builds with their products. Pretty sure they are all made in SoCal
Were all ford brother's now ! haha we should have a hunt and co ford meet at the shop. great idea if you ask me :)
I have a 2020 tremor f350 I love it! Sweet truck TJ
You will like the truck a lot I drive a similar one in 2022 probably should of gone with a platinum with the items you are describing wanting todo would of come with the full panoramic roof and the auto side steps and also massaging seats ! The Tremor package is sweet comes with a slightly higher stance and off road suspension and the heavier luged tire but you sound like your changing most of that to go big or go home 😊Nice truck love the colour. I came from a Chevys my whole life at this point as a business aspect its who will ever give me the better trade in price and purchase. Except Dodge lol lets just make that short and sweet and say I can’t afford Dodge problems😏
Platinum, king ranch and limited have much more options… lariot is definitely not the top luxury option… but lariot is still a great truck
Leveling kit with Cali off-road summit chrome wheels 22x12 with -44 offset will get you some stance but not a stupid amount. This is a clean truck!
Congratulations its gorgeous
At 42 just got my dream truck its the xlt but im more then great full to have the opportunity to own one
The "Tremor" is a quake reference, so that is the kind of ground shaking they are implying about this model. Remember if you go bigger size wheels and tires (diameter) you lose some of the torque and acceleration, so you don't want that for towing. It also messes up your speedo and mileage stats.
I’ve never had a truck have mileage stays messed up from a lift, but all the newer vehicles can be calibrated through the computer for bigger wheels and all. 🤙🏽
@@traviskeathley8045 Yeah, a "lift" has no effect on the final drive ratio, while larger diameter tires result in fewer revolutions per mile, or a lower 'indicated speed'.
Platinum model is higher than Lariat, top of the lines models are Platinum/Limited/King Ranch
Checkout Carli Suspension. I would personally run the pintop kit with all the options. Carli is great when it comes to solid axle suspension diesels. I did a pintop setup on a 21 king ranch along with innov8 g600 wheels. The truck was awesome. I would say stay on a 18" or 17" wheel but go to a set of 37's. I had the 5.5" pintop kit. If I was to do it over again I would do the 3.5" kit. The 5.5" on 37's made the truck a little too tall and not user friendly when towing/everyday driving.
Congrats on the new work truck shes beautiful 😍
What, TJ hunt is having a baby and he hasn’t even proposed yet!!!
pre-marital sex O.O
Could be trolling the fan boys that follow to close to people's lives😂
@@timholubowitch9097exactly some on here are way too personal creepy
💀aint no way this comment is real
It doobeee that way thoooo 😮😮😮. JK who knows.
You should of looked at the new Sierra 2500 AT4X. It’s fully loaded.
The AT4X HD is an awesome truck!
I know you are a wheel guy, the KMC GRENADE CRAWL BEADLOCK in the Machined finish look soo sick
Love these kinda raw videos😂😂
-Carli suspension
-Nitto trail grapplers 37x13.50x22
-22x12 American force CKHO1 concave series wheels
-Full color match
-headlights and tail lights once there’s a good looking set out.
-We just got 5 2023 super duty’s in at the dealership I’m at and there beautiful trucks. Love the channel and congrats!
You know what they say. You wanna haul a heavy load, get you a chevy silverado. You wanna swallow a heavy load, get you a ford f series.
BTW this is just a amri king meme 😅
God, those Amiri videos just came rushing back 🤣
Method race wheels on that thing 100%, Carli suspension for a level/lift, don’t get bigger tires than 35’s and maybe swap those factory steps for automatic amp steps. Exhaust won’t be loud when towing with a 10 speed but without a delete it’s kinda pointless, just change the tip if you want and keep the exhaust stock. Colour match that front end and it’ll look much better, sweet truck man! ~ fellow albertan
If it's like the new dodges they don't even have a muffler, just change the exhaust tip for the style you like and it will sound the same! I would say go with like fox or Carli suspension and only bump the front around 2-2.5" and you will easily fit 35s maybe 37s and it would look great! Depending on your style run some 20x10-12 or 22x10-12" and it would look really good and still drive awesome! Definitely install dual steering stabilizers to help the death wobble with a SAS truck!!! Add a couple better subwoofers and that truck will last you years and work hard while driving better than older Cadillacs!!!! I agree to change out the tremor sticker for something like a "Hunt & co" sticker made to have an OEM+ vibe would be sick!!!!
Teej hoping on that ford grind let’s go
I want him to make a trophy truck so bad!!!!!
For towing purposes the Tremor Lariat is nice. The Platinum’s and Limited’s have a softer suspension. For the purpose of towing the Tremor Lariat is definitely the way to go. Plus it looks like it has the tow package. It is definitely a nice tow pig for its intended purpose.
Needs a leveling kit and some brushed aluminum method wheels or something like that. For tires I highly recommend the nitto recon grappler in 37x12.50. They will fit perfect on that truck with the level. I run them on my raptor and love them. Aggressive but quiet on the road and are lasting very well
Nice color! You definitely needs to peel that orange Tremor decal. A nice "ghost" shade for a new Tremor decal.
I've owned alot of different trucks and have put many many miles on them all. I'm personally a Cummins fan. However congratulations on the new rig!
Also Sabrina is looking at the r8 but missed the good car (corvette) going across the intersection
I know this is a video about the new truck but you can definitely shift that pit bike without the clutch! Check out a couple of videos on clutchless shifting. It's super easy, just a little throttle control and you're rippin.
I knew he said something to Kevin 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I was cryin of laughter when you called him out
You can change drive modes on the knob where you select 2wd, 4wd etc. if your driving slow press the camera button and you get front camera. The tremor is the off road edition. The platinum is the every option. The tremor also comes factory leveled. Your key fob should open the endgate and close it.
37” Nitro Ridge Grapplers mounted on some fuel Blitz, Diode Dynamics light bar in the grill, and fog lights, you need road armor Brush Bar and rear bumper. Amp research steps, and badge blackouts or deletes.
Tj, ever thought of doing a build series on a truck?
Congrats TJ. I do feel like you would have liked the new GMC better though. Especially the interior
You should do a leveling kit and get some fuel 20x10 -24 offset with some 35x12.5r20 nitto ridge grapplers would look sick! Also could order the putco light up front emblem just did it on mine and looks crazy has cool start up sequence!
Leveling kit and new wheels and tires and exhaust! You'll be all set
Paint match the front end. Makes the front look 100x better and more aggressive
Leveling kit, nice set of Forces or KG1's on 35's
Tremors are nice but I do believe they have a reduced towing capacity compared to the standard lariat/xlt etc. for the same reason the Raptor has a reduced towing capacity - it’s geared towards off road but I believe you can fix that by swapping the rear springs.
That’s only true in regards to regular F-150s where the Tremor is a trim level for those. When in regards to the Ford SuperDutys the Tremor is a package not a trim level. What TJ just bought is a 2023 F-250 Lariat with the Tremor Package.
@@HaroldAbarca I would recommend you look at the Ford Super Duty Towing Tables. The GCRW for the F-250 with the Tremor Package is 28,500 with Max trailer towing capacity of 18,200 with the 6.7 H.O. Without the Tremor Package the 6.7 H.O. in the same configuration (4x4 Crew Cab with the 6-3/4' box) GCRW is 31,000 with the high capacity axle and 22,000 lb towing rating. There is a difference. I has to do with the rear springs/axle, not the engine.
@@fresh_paint It's a pretty small difference, unlike the Raptors.
@@fishermanshane4865 I don't disagree, but there is a difference and towing capacity is less than his High Country at 20k lbs
@@fresh_paintI’m not talking about the towing rates. I’m just saying that with regular F-150s the Tremor is a Trim, while with SuperDutys tremor is a package not a trim
Teej. Lariat is a nice trim. I don’t even think they make a limited anymore so basically just platinum above your trim level, but truly not much more is added to that package. I think it will be a great truck.
I have to agree with Sabrina. The lighting was hitting hard when she was videoing TJ when she mentioned it.
“Gotta take my plates”
Leaves plates…
Trade in the lariat tremor for a platinum, king ranch, or limited and do a reverse level with 24s and add helper bags in the rear. Will ride and tow way better.
Congrats on the truck awesome would love that truck.
Paint match everything. The grill the front spoiler the whole mirror. Everything it will be a huge upgrade!! Congrats bro my favorite truck!
Also put the smoked lenses on the lights
And do Vossen hybrid forged wheels. They look amazing
Should’ve checked out the Denali Ulimate or at4x 2500
To me this is actually a down grade from your Chevy but it’s about how it makes you feel when you drive it obviously. Looking forward to see how you mod it.
To go into sport mode you triple press the traction control button. I think icon level kit with their wheels would make the truck look amazing.
New headlights, grill, and bumpers would be a great start to that awesome Lariat you bought.
I’m so pissed for TJ that he got the bass trim within an appearance package😢
Lol lariat is definitely not a base trim
thats not a lariat@@austinmamaat5248
Hell yeah ford FTW
S&B Intake for emissions. DPF Back exhuast also for emissions, wont change sound much but will make a huge appearance difference. 20x12 wheels, with 12.5x35 tires will look good and good for towing no rubbing. 2" leveling kit. King coilover conversion for front and it will level the truck (also adjustable). King rear shocks will make a huge difference.
We sre finally in ford!!!!!!! agreed on the front end tho but im hyped you came to ford to try it
The new fords do look sick im a chevy guy personally but wen u look at the overall picture meaning the exterior the interior the motor and trans and the options I personally think dodge is hands down the best they look sick they have the best interiors on the market and you can't ever go wrong with a cummings only other truck would be a fully load duramax denali
Chevys new interior is finally in the conversation
Day 1 commenting until TJ buys a Raptor and starts a desert truck build.
Carli pintop suspension, 20x10 fuel rebars (bronze) on 37s, also colormatch the front grille and it’ll clean up that front end A BUNCH…. I would also recommend yokahoma x-mts if you were looking into mud grapps, they last longer and are quieter also super aggressive
It's *RAM.* Just RAM. 🤣 Came out of the bank with a fat check, and all of a sudden the lighting is so goooood 🤣🤣
I feel bad that they told you the lariat was the top trim like high country is to Chevy… you got like 3 trims above lariat 🥲 still an outstanding truck and will do everything you ask it to. Nice rig!!! A 2” rear drop on some 24x12x35’s would be MONEY 🤑
