As a Filipino *somewhat* fluent in Tagalog I understood like 60% of what they were saying and have a bit of hope knowing I can learn from Duolingo. Thanks Gabi!!
Yup, I can speak a bit of Tagalog too so I understood quite a bit of it or at the very least recognized the words. That's the beauty of being Filipino haha 👍🏻

I too am gonna take part in this challenge by typing the rest of this in Spanish: Como alguien que habla español con fluidez, esto me alegra el corazón. Si bien mis parientes nacieron en los Estados Unidos, mi abuela materna nació en La Habana y ella fue quien me inspiró a avanzar en mi aprendizaje del idioma para poder hablarle con fluidez antes de que falleciera. Esto me hace extrañarla

We just watched the one where your family addressed the negative comments that people wrote about you (you guys were much younger in that video--maybe it was 2 or 3 years ago that you did the video). I thought that was such a wonderful video. I hope you guys see this. Your family is a light and I love that my daughter found your videos. Something very interesting to me was the fact that some of these Spanish words were similar to some French words. I'm from Canada so French is my second language (I'm far from fluent though). For example, blanco in Spanish is blanc in French!

Literally this is me and my kids a couple of months in Spain 😂😂😂, it was like spanish class 99% of the time, I'm peruvian and my husband is from Iraqbut born in the USA so they speak three languages but obviously with a lot of accent and funny words 😂😂😂, I feel so good seeing this video, my kids use Rosetta stone so I believe will try Duolingo instead 😅😅, awesome video!!!
