Happy Christmas and congrats on the little one. So glad Woodwarm won stove of the year. As you know I have the discontinued Fireview 4.5kw, a stove built for life virtually. 13 years constant use heating my narrowboat home. Most parts lasted 10 years like firebricks, rope. Only replacements are stove door ropes, Firebricks, inner glass as crazed. Grate bars themselves good but link bar needs replacing to get riddling grate working. baffle plate slightly warped in bottom middle but still functional and incredibly thick. All in all if ever I sold my boat would buy another Woodwarm in a heartbeat. A purchase for life virtually. All parts all available and delivered within a week of ordering.

Could not agree more I have tried many stoves but I always come back to the firebug in my own house, the only challenger to this award is the new Archer stove that should be your next review

Merry Christmas Tortoise and missis Tortoise and children aww bless is that small baby going to be a stove fitter ?
Out of interest , I have seen these ECO stoves , that have all the heat insulation properties built into them …… give off heat for 12 hours and maybe burn again in the evening for the next days heat ?
It says that they also have kits to heat water , however in my case I was wondering if the claims they suggest ( 12 hours heat after the fire goes out ? Interesting have a happy new year and keep the videos coming 👍

Happy Christmas to the three of you.
Is that an aluminium can in the fire?
Interesting to see the draw pulling the flame of the candle towards the fire.
There are few channels that I see an new video notification and make time to sit down with a brew and watch.
    This is one of them.

As an Army cadet in the 70s coke tins were steel or a heavier metal than aluminium , we used to sit round the fire and put our drinks cans when empty on the fire .
In our tents we would dig a hole and retrieve the cans at the end of the night to put in the hole , cover it back over and it was like central heating 😃 happy days

      That’s awesome!
I once heard that this can prevent soot build up in a chimney, so because there was a lot of argument around it, I thought I’d test it over time.
Sadly, so far I’ve noticed nothing of any note.

HNY to you. Must take a look at Woodwarm before replacement baffles and bricks bankrupt me on my HH 8KW Multi 🤤

Gabriel, will you please review the termatec tt20.
This is now the third year I'm running this stove and when I say run it I mean pushed probably more than most people in the UK ever would.
This stove has been used virtually all day , every day for the past 3 winters.
Yes in my 3 bedroom semi detached house I am able to 99% of the time , heat my home using wood only.
Have a great Christmas & new year 😊

@TheTortoise thankyou Gabriel, I'm by no means saying it's the best stove on the market but what that little stove has done for me is certainly worth recognition 🙈😂
I must say though, after running the stove for 2 years with no external air feed and this winter it has the direct air kit fitted, I will never have another stove without this fitted , it completely changes the stove.
All the best for the new year!!
