Thanks for the review. I had the 1723S towers and upgraded to the 1723 towers. They sound great in my music only system. 111 lbs each and built like tanks. I like the black satin in my room. Don’t have to dust all the time. Power with my Rotel separates putting out 200 WPC at 8 OHMS so plenty of power, which they need if you want to play loud and they will play loud. I’ve had them about 2 years and I’m very happy. Merry Christmas and happy new year.
Love your channel and review style. I’m debating between these or the Aperion Theatrus and watched your review on those. Would love to hear your thoughts which one you liked better.
Thanks very much for the review! I wonder how these compare to the Paradigm Founder 70LCR.. they look similar aside for the ports in the rear of the Arendal’s . I currently have a set of M&K Sound 750 THX Select 5.1 system. Doesn’t seem like speaker brands are making a speaker around this size or dimensions anymore. Either bigger or way too small. Sucks for people who have small spaces and want the best possible sound
I've always wondered about these, and you've gone into aspects that other reviewer haven't! Great comparisons. I think Pursuit of Perfect system gave them a top award over many, many other standmounts (I think it was the S's?). Anyway, happy they worked well in your space. Do you think they'd still play well with a 10 x 14' room on shortwall and about 8 feet from the chair? Thanks 🙏
Hi, are these comparable to to monitor audio silver 300 7g you reviewed? You called them end game and as you are super positive on these I was wandering!
I agree. No subwoofer needed when you have such drivers. We often tend to forget that 75 percent of music (vocals, instruments) comes to us throught the mids. I don't need my gear to shake my windows in order to enjoy the music...
These are nice. A little expensive but its kind of a one and done speaker. There are speakers that cost a lot more than these that don't sound as good. One of the only competitors I can think of is the Paradigm Founder 70LCR which are more costly. Are these, you can have them in any color as long as its black?
They come in black or white. I do have to send these back. Also, the Founder LCR is sealed. So these stand apart. Aperion has Cinema speakers that are comparable.

Made in China? Wtf. No thanks 😅
Amazing!
A great review, straightforward and entertaining. Thank you.
Thank you Paul!
Great review and informative. Looks wise these remind me of a pair of 80s bar room DJ speakers heheh....
Great review as usual! Those speakers look all business and no flash. Pretty cool.
Thank you!
I love your track New and Strange and have it in my playlist 🔥🔥 A favourite for sure.
Thank you!!
really liking the videos. here from winnipeg.
Awesome! Thanks for watching.
Black and white, very original 👍🏻

Oh man, its tough because I dont have them side by side. I did love the Theatrus as well. It may come down to a price and aesthetic battle.

Oh it should work there. It is big though. So it might be worth factoring in the dimensions of the speaker.

Oh, well those are floorstanders. I think they’re comparable for sure. Though I do need to re-hear the 300s to make a proper comparison

While I do agree, I also enjoy chest rattling bass!
Whats better 11 of these or Sonos Arc Ultra, Sub 4, Era 300's?
11 of them?
I know these speakers are 4 times the price then Monolith THX 365t. Other then cosmetics if both are THX CERTIFIED are this worth the upgrade?
I haven’t heard the Monolith, but they look cool!

How do they compare to MA silver 100 7g
Oh, the Arendals all the way. They’re more expensive mind you. But if you want big sound, yeah.
All Blue Jean Cables
Denon 3700.. Monolith 7 * 200.. Emotiva basx4 for atmos.... 7.2.4 Arendel 1723s LFC.. Arendal 1723s surrounds.. Arendal 1961s heights.. 2 Arendal 1961s Subwoofer.. Equals 😁😁😁
That must be wonderful!

Stopped watching it when he said 46 Hz - 20 KHz. end of the hype.😁
Why?
in-room response is a lot lower
