You drill the holes on the side of the stump. If you would drill them in an angle from the top of the stump then the stump removal would have stayed inside the stump and dissolved it instead of running out and doing nothing.
That's what I came to say. I would have cut it to ground level and maybe even made the center concaved to hold the product better. I think I would go way beyond the 4 holes, to expose lots of surface area.
Well, the older and deader it is, the easier it is to burn it. But yeah, even one with moisture in it will burn, it just takes a while. The more wood you can add to make hot smoldering coals the better. I often have brushpiles to burn and will just pile it up around a stump I want to get rid of. Big ones can take days. If you don't want a big fire I suppose you could actually use charcoal or briquettes and do some grilling while your at it 🙂
I have many stumps in my yard. One of them was found eaten by termites.😢 I have to hire someone to check my house and make a treatment. The rest of them are hard wood and dry. I can't burn them because there are other bush surrounding them 😢. I don't think stump remover can do anything to them.
Dude, it killed the grass around it cause you applied the granules and the hot water with no finesse at all and splashed it around 0:59 , of course it killed the grass 😂 Also, you did not follow the instructions as it doesnt say “come just the next day”, it literaly says “Continue to add water to the holes for *several days* to ensure Spectracide Stump Remover Granules dissolve completely.”
Dude Joey Browser if you have to do all that then it doesn't work and who needs it if it takes 6 weeks, you can build half a house in 6 weeks time. LOL
Here in the Netherlands we use a machine with fast moving carbide tips to remove stumps. Works way better and faster than any chemical.
That sounds awesome. I imagine it chips it up into wood mulch?
@@HomeRapidRepair Yep the consistency of what you get from a chainsaw, maybe a little bit bigger.
That is done in every country, friend. This is the slower, cheaper alternative.
"stump grinder". The machine is expensive. you can rent one for a day. you can hire a service: "stump grinding".
I don't personally know if stump remover works, but I do know that removing the stump works well.
Dang I wanted a short cut 🤦🏻♂️. Now I’m digging a hole 🪓
You barely swung that hammer; more like rested it on the stump. Maybe try an axe and wedge.
Thank you for watching 👍🏼🏠🛠️

Thank you for watching and commenting 👍🏼😊🪵
It works better if you start with the stump at ground level.
I was too lazy to cut it that low 😳

I just build a fire around them and burn them out.
Does that work, the wood has moisture in it? Will it burn?

Geez, I am not adept at yard chores, but I could certainly do a better job than your botched attempt. You just washed all the product away.
You may be right. Thanks for watching
Honestly looked like it works. That thing was ready to go 10 more swings and it would have been flat. I belive the product says 6 months not 6 weeks
6 months? Dang maybe I’ll Google the product label 😳
The stump was already well rotted when you began.
Ok. Perhaps, but it was still a pain in the butt to remove…

Thanks for watching…I believe we did follow label instructions…
@@joebrowser775 🤣
this guy is really dumb lol, just the way he spilled half the granules on the grass...he's not too bright

Epsom Salt does the same exact thing over 2 months
Thanks for that. One other person mentioned that too...Now I'm wondering if that is what is in this bottle and they put fancy packaging on it??
except now you have salt in ground.
@@shannonriley8299 we have pulled the rest of this stump out and grass has grown in nicely 👍🏼
U use it to make fun powder and sugar rockets etc
That would work better than a tree stump remover 😂
It looks a though your stump is already rotting and does not need this product. I'm not sure what you were expecting.
Honestly I was just expecting more of anything. If you market a product as stump removal it probably should perform at least a little bit.
@@HomeRapidRepair Yeah, they should call it stump killer rather than remover.
That was the weakest attempt of hitting with a sledge hammer. This video is a scan.
Thanks for watching…excuse me while I hit the gym 💪🏼
A few more holes with out the chemical would have removed the stump in a few hours..😂
I agree with you 100%
this guy isn't too bright....
Ok bludika I see you 👀
All this is is Epson Salt
I believe you...they sell a lot of bottles and honestly they doesn't seem to do much?? So much for truth in labeling laws?
Scam!
I may have to agree with you. These products are sold and seemingly did absolutely nothing 😳
