The dramatic irony of reading the comments before watching the video and knowing what happens to the hero the moment he jumps in with a confident "if he dies I can just revive him" is the stuff Greek tragedies were made of.

I see a lot of streamers/content creators that have so much haste that they miss out on many of the details. It's like they read 1 or 2 words out of a sentence and judge the content of something by that xD

3:24 I think you misread. They don't *get* +2 Resistance/Status Resistance, they *ignore* that much
Exactly, massive difference.
The best counter to pillage is the Tome of Sanctuary. It lets you build a province improvement that prevents all other improvements from being pillaged, plus counts as a spelljammer and a conduit.

@@lv8484 its definitely seeded tho, 10 chestplates of vitality in one run with only one other chestplate gotten in 129 turns of gameplay (from a recent game of mine)

Really liked this video. Seeing the massive battles (something a lot of players don't do as auto resolve exists) that the devs put a lot of work in to making fun and engaging is really good. Especially showing one where you slaughter, and then one where you win, but lose a lot of your army (Spell jammer ouchies). A good example of how auto resolve is NEVER as good as someone who can think their way through a battle.
I might actually play a game with ONLY manual battles >.< Though probably won't in the end 😥
Think the reason you keep getting a lot of the same equipment is that AI rulers conjure in the same equipment for all their heroes. Thus when you kill the same ruler's heroes over and over, you get the same items over and over

Hey @PotatoMcWhiskey, you read (or said) evoker medal wrong - i does not add resistances, it ignores resistance on target

You can't see guilds in that city because you built a guild there and can only have 1 guild per city.

Funny how the 1 unit pillage is great when you're doing it, but annoying when the AI does it. And yes, this isn't the first time you've sold your own hero's corpse.
The mages' guild not appearing in the building menu is obviously a bug. It happens to me all the time, especially in the capital.
If you build another type of guild it disappears, you can only have one type per city.
@@danhaggerty847 I know that. The mages' guild sometimes does not appear at all, even greyed-out in the menu.
I’m not sure why the tooltip for “You can assign governor” isn’t showing up for you but you have a couple of cities that are unassigned
