@scottman895 My father had one that was bigger than they could properly fill, but they tried to do it in 2 applications. At least it was mostly just on the passenger side that the cracks formed. That 1995 Taurus wagon was also the vechile I first learned to drive.
@@robertsitch1415 Ah, gotcha. I have a really bad one on the passenger side of the vehicle right now which has a long crack. Since it is not impacting my vision at all, I'm leaving it for now as I mentioned in the video. It seems that rocks keep getting sent to my windshield almost weekly although 90% of them are tiny.
I guess you can say that most places north of the Mason-Dixon Line only have a May to October season for outdoor activities, so most related businesses close for the other 7 months or reduce hours of operation and staffing.
That's what I have noticed here in Michigan especially when people are going 10-15 over the posted speed limit and then someone goes even faster around them.

Nice that we get another I-75 video! Will Atlanta be on your travel to list soon enough? Also, did you hear about the new MK1: Khaos Reigns Trailer?
Not yet. It will depend on what road trips I may do late in the year or going into early 2025. I have not heard anything about this trailer.
i'LL be driving that route myself in about 4 weeks, except all the way from Mackinaw. My route is 75 south to 69 east to M-19 south.
Nice! That is quite a nice drive especially in the northern part of the state.
I guess you can say that the whole Thumb of Michigan is just within a comfortable daytripping distance of most Detroit suburbs.
That's pretty much the case, but it does take about 3-4 hours to get up to Port Austin at the northern tip.
@@scottman895 Yes, that is some people's rent a motel distance.
@@robertsitch1415 Very true. It can be on the border between a day trip and an overnight trip.
I guess that for most guys, a discount on a sports car rental is a perk.
Very true. I've had a rental or two in the past where I ended up getting an upgraded vehicle. I haven't gotten a sports car yet though.
My parents were generally able to get Apple Autoglass or Speedy to fill in stone chips.
Very nice! I had something done one time to prevent that, but it made it worse.

That makes sense. The only tourist spots which are year round tend to have winter activities available.
@@scottman895 Yes, the country museum in my area is sort of like that with the indoor exhibits open, but the heritage village outside closed.
@@robertsitch1415 That sounds like many of the small town museums in Michigan too which I have visited.
They are planning to upgrade M-46 through Saginaw at some point.
Great to know. I know it is quite needed there.
@scottman895 Yes, and they plan on changing the configuration, particularly the one-way section.
@@robertsitch1415 Ah, very interesting. I pay close attention to the MDOT construction projects, so I'll have to keep my eyes peeled on that one.
@@scottman895 they appear to be finishing up the Bay County stretch of US 10.
I guess you can say that section of l 75 is unofficially a US 23 concurrency.
That's pretty much the case since US 23 breaks away from I-75 about a couple miles south of I-69.
Speed limits are more aa suggestion anyway
