Senior Hammer, I want to personally thank you for what you are doing. You may not know or understand how your conversations are opening doors for some of us. I will give you a perspective. I am a research student and currently completing work on reviving palmwine music. The challenge in the kind of work we do is that, our legends are difficult to get especially for research purposes and knowledge creation is very difficult. What your platform provides is an opening to engage with these musicians on an academic level. I love that you learn the stories to the musicians to share their stories. In deed their stories matter, their perspectives matter and especially as you keep lamenting on why we are not promoting our own, it starts from teaching them from the beginning. It starts from getting to listen to the stories of those who have walked the performative streets and for us to document them. Yours provide someone like me the space to think through their conversations and to construct knowledge based on our own stories, especially on the music front. I hope one day, when I am a fully certified research and someone who shares knowledge, I invite you to my class to also share your stories of the stories of these legends of ours. Kudos and keep on with the good work. Thanks once again

The way white man treated their lovers is unique. The man obey his girl or wife whether he likes it or not and his mother and father will say nothing

For the last 10 yrs Ghana music has been the same..same beat, same melody, same rhyme, same story line, same voice, same copy copy...sooo boring. .
