Shildt is a Great Manager, if I was playing Pro Ball he would be the kind of Guy I would love to play for. The team will work itself out of this. Bad stretches happen, especially with teams that have some weaknesses. This is a good group of players and a good staff. I will still keep watching.
He holds you guys more accountable than his own players in the club house 😂

What did you all think of Mike Shildt's comments?
I think he holds his guys to zero accountability, doesn’t want questions that highlight negatives, and pushes back on you when he should be pushing back on his players.
Shildt is toxic positivity defined. Even with the nicest possible question framing, he refuses to say anything even slightly bad about this team.
Instead he peddles disingenuous bullshit like “Oh we outhit our opponent but still lost” *because it’s nothing but fucking singles, Mike. Barely any slug on this team.*
One can only hope he’s holding them accountable behind the scenes. But whatever he’s been doing thus far, it doesn’t seem to be working.
Why are you watching his interviews then?
Guy is real, no bs, and at the same time doesn't seem to take accountability or point out any area of improvement. Seems like the opposite of bomel but the results are the same so far so idk
What on earth even was this segment? He gave us literally nothing. There was no point to this. He just complained about the framing of genuinely good questions. His time is up.
