Lovely little basket. Love it's long enough for some utensils like used in sewing or kitchen but also glasses say in an RV each twin bed could have their own little basket to hold their glasses maybe even a cell phone etc. Meantime I would finish mine with a top stitch all around the top to finish off the turn in un-sewn open seam area so you can turn it inside out. Just tuck it in to match the sewn seamed area pin or clip and sew all the way around the upper part of basket then to finish off neatly. This would finish it nicely without having to hand sew. Those who don't know how might end up with some puckered areas so machine finishing would be nice. You can make this shallower or wider and custom fit for items you might think would store in a specific area like crafting tools too. Love the simplicity as much as anything. You could use iron on interfacing sheets too not just thin foam. Make a liner of denser closed cell but thin foam to make a place to insulate and hang a drinking cup cozy too or travel mug cozy. So many ways to utilize and personalize this basket. Thanks for this design and tutorial will be relevant for decades if not infinity.
Bag lining foam. It is used for fashion needs and folding foam mattresses. We can find its use in the layers of jackets and bags. This foam is in the form of roll foam with a thickness of 2mm, 3mm, up to 5mm
