We've reviewed what losing traders do, now let's review what successful traders do and how they make money. If you think of the steps, new traders expect to pick up the platform and trade at a high level without going thru the process. A trader is exactly the same - we have little skill sets that we are good at: executing the trade, risk management, analysing the market, holding the winners..etc All those little things need to come together to have a successful 'flight' i.e. trading success. Most traders only focus on one area but that's just part of the puzzle.
Winning Traders
They run their winners with incredible consistency
When in a winning trade they will not start looking for a reason to exit if anything - they will look for a reason and price level to ADD!
Risk
They take low risks and won't let any one position damage them.

Hey Mark. I have my pilot's license. It took me 18 hours before my first solo and 50 hours before my exam. Plus hundreds of hours of theory.
But - Trading has taking me already 1,000+ hours and I'm still shit at it :-(
most important lesson - cost me 80% of my account to soak this in.

There is this book on discipline that said something like what makes you think that you can be a surgeon after just a year?
+UKspreadbetting, I was just thinking about this earlier today before seeing this video...the fact that I have to be better than half the traders in the world on any given trade in order to win. I also realized that I have to let the market tell me what risk needs to be taken on any trade, it's not about what I want to risk. I try and let the market talk to me. I'm a beginning e -mini dow trader and I do all the mundane things, post trade analysis, and the like. I don't have to be right on a trade, I just don't want to be wrong, if that makes any sense...something I need to work on. I realize now that this will not be easy, but it's something I'm committed to it and your videos have helped me to put things in perspective...

Are you saying that you can't be successful as a daytrader ? ....why do I have to be in a trade for multiple days to be successful ? ...I don't get it ☹️
