I don't stan Golden Child, but I absolutely have to agree about Y - I feel like him and his voice are the reason I'm so drawn to their songs in the first place. He has one of those very resonant voices that stays on your mind and really reverberates across the room, several minutes after the performance is done. So much talent, AAA

Golden Child really found their sound when they did their trilogy titles with Reboot (the triad of Wannabe - Without You - Lucid Dream is absolutely incredible) and they can still do their bright concepts just as excellently. 2021 releases in Burn It and Ra Pam Pam take on heavy on storytelling. Both MVs were movie-like in quality. They're really climbing my high in my personal kpop group list.
I don't know why they choose this kind of MV for the song but fun fact is, the original lyric was changed (I don't know when, there's possibility they had recorded the previous version) to "giving hope" message in order to suit the music video. The rapper TAG was asked to do the task. I love Infinite but only become Woollim stan since last year. I hope you'd check out the b-sides too when you have time cause Woollim is actually famous for incredible b-sides and this album is no exception. All the group song side tracks are title track materials (Spell being my fav) and all the solo&units are good too.

Their 2nd full album Game Changer is solid gold imo, all tracks are so good and even packed with title tracks songs! Fyi the b-side "FANFARE" is produced by the same producer as BURN IT, the song is also amazing! There's a special clip from woollim and some live stages for that. Fyi they will release 5 new mvs for the units/solo soon (probably next week). 11 amazing tracks. I love woollim music. I'm looking forward for PD's reaction, next comeback is probably Lovelyz and Golcha again after that with repackage album.

I think golden child has been climbing more and more in their career while progressing as artists. Burn it went from being a "good" song to being my new obsession, I haven't been able to stop listening to it yet, and Ra pam pam has arrived just to have the same destiny. The choreography is incredible, the performances were all great, they have sung live and have outdone themselves, their promos just ended and I'm already missing them; definitely a group that I'm appreciating more and more closely and considering to stan really soon... Golcha deserves every single praise thrown their way!!!! For me Joochans voice is the most distinctive but Ys voice is almost my favorite too. Golcha ooooozes charisma and man stanning them is my biggest flex

Additionally I think the concept of the MV is the pandemic (like in Burn It). Where going outside and breathing without a mask is impossible, you will die. Not to mention the people trying to stop them from saving everyone are also human...not going to point fingers but you can turn on the news and see who these people are (hint: they're not into taking vaccines). Again, this is just my opinion.
Golcha’s vocals in Without You was what made me really notice them. I remember searching for who that amazing vocalist in that song is and realising ‘that’ amazing vocalist is actually Y, Joochan, Seungmin, Jibeom… I went through all their line distribution videos and was amazed by how many competent vocalists this group has. Impressive! Although like PD, Y’s voice is my favorite. And that Y chorus line is the part that wowed me the most in the song too. I also love Daeyeol’s high note in the bridge, Donghyun’s negero, Tag’s singing rap, Joochan’s falsetto… Oh, and also Burn It made me a Ness!

Completely agree with PD here.. Woollim's musicality style is no joke. For me, it transcends kpop generations. As a 2nd gen fan (infinite), its hard to get hooked to post 2016 kpop as it sounds so different but here in Woollim (Golcha, Rocket Punch, Drippin and Lovelyz) they connect to me.

I really expect you to comment how the rap part is so beautiful in ra pam pam. Kpop song usually give some breaks to enter the rap part before coming back to the singing part, but ra pam pam part is so melodical that the rap pat interwoven beautifully in the song. I think golden child has been climbing more and more in their career while progressing as artists. Burn it went from being a "good" song to being my new obsession, I haven't been able to stop listening to it yet, and Ra pam pam has arrived just to have the same destiny. The choreography is incredible, the performances were all great, they have sung live and have outdone themselves, their promos just ended and I'm already missing them; definitely a group that I'm appreciating more and more closely and considering to stan really soon...

i also have a theory that ra pam pam took place BEFORE burn it ( there’s more to this but its a lot haha) but also, golden child actually said themselves in an interview that the story and stuff is secret and that they might continue this in the future, so i’m really interested to see where they take it

I felt this was more of a Spanish dance style of music, but that's just like, my opinion.
Additionally I think the concept of the MV is the pandemic (like in Burn It). Where going outside and breathing without a mask is impossible, you will die. Not to mention the people trying to stop them from saving everyone are also human...not going to point fingers but you can turn on the news and see who these people are (hint: they're not into taking vaccines). Again, this is just my opinion.

Golcha’s vocals in Without You was what made me really notice them. I remember searching for who that amazing vocalist in that song is and realising ‘that’ amazing vocalist is actually Y, Joochan, Seungmin, Jibeom… I went through all their line distribution videos and was amazed by how many competent vocalists this group has. Impressive! Although like PD, Y’s voice is my favorite. And that Y chorus line is the part that wowed me the most in the song too. I also love Daeyeol’s high note in the bridge, Donghyun’s negero, Tag’s singing rap, Joochan’s falsetto… Oh, and also Burn It made me a Ness!

Completely agree with PD here.. Woollim's musicality style is no joke. For me, it transcends kpop generations. As a 2nd gen fan (infinite), its hard to get hooked to post 2016 kpop as it sounds so different but here in Woollim (Golcha, Rocket Punch, Drippin and Lovelyz) they connect to me.

I really expect you to comment how the rap part is so beautiful in ra pam pam. Kpop song usually give some breaks to enter the rap part before coming back to the singing part, but ra pam pam part is so melodical that the rap pat interwoven beautifully in the song. But I feel like you are distracted by the music video lmao.
