I’ve seen some recent shows about Hindu deities like Shiv and Shakti, and it’s disheartening to see how they’re being portrayed. The storytelling often feels like it's stuck in soap opera territory, similar to traditional saas-bahu dramas, with little regard for accuracy or respect. It seems that these shows exploit the names of Hindu gods to attract viewers, assuming that the audience will accept anything without questioning its authenticity or logic. Actors in this drama looks like they are making some reels for youtube or instagram. People specially hindu audience are Big C and F to promote this kind of show It’s frustrating to see such shows gaining popularity, especially when it feels like there’s a double standard. For instance, shows about other religions are often handled with much more sensitivity and respect, and any portrayal of those deities in a similar manner would likely face significant backlash and legal issues. Maybe it's time we rethink our approach to such content and demand more thoughtful and respectful portrayals. It would be great if there were legal measures to ensure that religious content is treated with the respect it deserves. Let’s advocate for better representation and be mindful of what we choose to watch and support.
