What a great video you made! That really looks like a great little flyer - I have the Eachine P-51 Mustang, which, as a beginner, I found easier to fly than the $300 trainer I bought. This one looks to be just as good. I'm so impressed that you can fly it in what looks like a very narrow space. Cheers!

eachine does not make anything, they get these from volantexrc and slap their label with more price. in some cases they oem for low costs prices but then they choose to go with lowest quality crappy parts. if you wanna buy good quality stuff, get volantexrc mini warbirds. bit.ly/p51mini
Took this out for the first time today. One small crash and tried to launch it again. Propeller fell off straight away. Tried to push the Propeller back on to the shaft and ut was loose. Easily spun off when throttling to try take off. It's not screwed on so I'm assuming it needs gluing on? If it snaps after it's been glued on how to get off to replace? Bad design as it should be more like a square fit on a square shaft.

Brushed motor used as on some of the jjrc copters, worn out quickly as compared to brushless, may not easily be replaced.

I was looking at the SU27 variant when it was on sale as it supposedly comes with GPS (the J11 does not) but put off risking at that price before any reviews available. The Banggood ads also have the usual ambiguities as to exactly what you are going to receive - no doubt your review will clear that up.

alishanmao, I just received my new Roadmaster TX16s radio and after watching your video about programming the eachine warbirds to the TX16, I successfully did that with my P-51, T-28, and F4u Corsair. I have not been successful with the F-22 not the F-16. I have them setup like the warbirds but the function button control does not work correctly. Have you done this with these jets? Do you have a video for that? Also, in you video for setting up the warbirds, you do not setup the aerobatic button. Is that not possible?
I have no issues at all with all those volantexrc eachine OEM mini Planes to use with TX16S. I am getting the new Eachine F16 soon, and will fly it with TX16S. and post setup video about it
@@alishanmao Thanks for your response alishanmao, how did you setup the aerobatics button on the warbirds (P-51, F4U, T-28)? I cannot seem to get that working. I'm trying to initiate it on channel 7 and use the SH button on the TX16s but had no luck.
honestly I just put it in Manual mode and do the aerobatics manually. But for auto aerobatics i think its channel 9. or 8. you gotta play with those.
@@alishanmao Assign a switch to channel 7. (Preferably a momentary switch but normal switch will work ... +/-100%.) To operate (in Beginner or Intermidiot Mode ;-) )switch or pull and hold the Channel 7 switch, move the right stick fully in the required direction and release the channel 7 switch. Should work. :-)

The new batch of Mini F22's have too many GYRO issues. There are many complaints reported regarding weird control behavior and even I shut off gyro assist mode the problems persist. I informed Eachines for a replacement improved control board with servos but they do not reply.

Yep. You have to tap the aileron control several times to level up the the ailerons before launching. If you do not the plane just rolls into the dirt. Recalibrating the gyros will seem to reset the ailerons for a few seconds and then they will go back to offset. If you continue to tap the aileron stick they will eventually lock up at full travel. Weird! If you level them first you can launch in Beginner successfully and fly normally. No idea on what's going on.
Our latest 1 has even more problems. Tailerons now also glitchy out of the box - pretty well unflyable. Avoid this 1 now! The other Volantex/Eachine V761 planes are all OK.
The speed of that thing id lose it within minutes given what I saw online the radio range is an abysmal 300ft.

Certainly not! Try the Volantex Sport Cub 500 - a beautiful docile trainer. Or the Volantex/Eachine P51 Mini Mustang if you feel like something fairly cheap but a bit more adventurous.
This plane has been reported to suffer from flight control board glitches, particularly with recent sales. Check the RC Groups forums on it.

I suggest sign up with an MCN in the beginning and they will take care of everything. once you learn the ropes. you can get out of MCN contract and manage the earnings yourself.

Seriously Ali?! It's not a plane for beginners. It just isn't. Not even in it's 'beginner' mode. Too many other more suitable RC aircraft to fly first if you are a beginner that cost the same type of money. Everyone's entitled to an opinion but rare comment from me disagreeing with you on this one.

Hi again Ali. Always love your videos, and one of them once helped me big time with setting up a stubborn nitro engine.
I already have an Eachine Mustang, which I absolutely LOVE, and now want to buy one of their jets. I slightly prefer the look of the F16, but stable flight is the most important thing for me. I have watched both your reviews on the F16 and this F22, and it seems that you believe the F22 is more stable. Is this correct please? If so then I will definitely go for the Raptor.
Also, given that you have to fly with much more throttle than the Mustang, I imagine the chance of having to land with a dead stick is much higher, so can you please tell me how it handles if landing on a dead stick?

Hi there, well these have built in gyros so they both should be about the same stable. if you want to enjoy jets, I suggest you get something bigger, 64mm EDF T45 BAE Hawk
