@Route 69 You try to make the game yourself, you'll give up before you start. It took huge game developing companies several years to make certain games, these are five devs working on recreating a huge ship down to the last detail.
Good question! I hope they nail the water physics, so that it doesn't clip through walls and instead finds the path of least resistance through pipes etc. That's extremly important. They could also use some DX12 Ultimate features to save performance and maybe even incorporate DXR 1.1 Raytracing. RTX Global Illumination could make a huge impact on the lighting considering the lighting environment is very dynamic in the sinking process.

Violet Jessop's book "Titanic Survivor", ed. John Maxtone-Graham, is well worth reading. A glimpse into a different universe of poverty and unremitting hard work. Those crew members were basically on duty whenever they were awake, and they didn't get much sleep, either.
This has the potential to be a truly ground breaking game. The level of detail and time invested in getting the game to even this stage is phenomenal. Amazing stuff. You are pioneers for sure!
I can’t wait to get a gaming computer and play the full version it’s going to be the best ever titanic game yet it’s gonna tell to story you get to walk around the decks and see the sinking and possibly if you are like me just watch the inside fill with water then when 2 hours and 40 minutes is done do it again and the exterior. It’s gonna be awesome.

Stuff like story, character modeling, how the leveling system will work and other gameplay mechanics and stuff. Keep top the good work!
the amount of dedication that you all put into this project is incredibly moving and motivating. Stay safe and healthy and don't overwork yourselves.
I'm looking forward to modeling stream. As a modeller myself I think that would be really educational.
I funded this several years ago, looking forward to seeing the final version :)
Oh tom I hope you stay safe an healthy my dude
Everything is looking amazing keep up the great work everyone
I cried watching this update! Thank you so much for what you are doing!
Cringe
I can’t wait to get a gaming computer and play the full version it’s going to be the best ever titanic game yet it’s gonna tell to story you get to walk around the decks and see the sinking and possibly if you are like me just watch the inside fill with water then when 2 hours and 40 minutes is done do it again and the exterior. It’s gonna be awesome.
Would be best to go for open world instead of levels similar to titanic adventure out of time where you could explore at will and do tasks at any time you wished. Linear "missions" would be inferior
The NPCs are so realistic! I can't wait to play it!
Still not as photo-realistic as the ship itself. I hope they upgrade the models before release.
Water Spray they said that they’re not going for photorealism, but rather a more animated type of style
I've been following your teams project for the last couple of years now... this is serious progress, despite the circumstances! I have great love for ocean and cruise liners of the 20th century, Olympic's my o'l reliable forever, but I'm very excited where you'll be taking the next step for Titanic: Honor and Glory :)
Finally we see some characters
Thank you all so much for all your passion and effort with this project and the wider titanic community, you guys and gals are an inspiration. Keep your chins up, the time will come to show this amazing product to the world.
Wonderful to hear of the progress and tentative possibilities for the future! Britannic warms my heart too.
You folks must be so completely proud of what you’ve achieved. What a feat. Can’t wait to see what the future brings!
i love this.
thank all of you and also your partners, for participating in this passionate project!
Totally blown away by all this work you have done.
Outstanding work. Always enjoy seeing new videos posted!
I'll pay whatever this game costs
Very excited to hear that the project is still moving along. I hope that you all stay safe during these times, and take care!
Oh wow, I wonder if you guys'll model Sam Hemming the lamp trimmer! I've loved reading his story and testimonies. Thank you all for your dedication to history!
I'll be snapping this up when its complete, sounds amazing
This will be the best game of all time, I just gotta say. These gentlemen have been working so hard over countless years and they haven’t been tired of it at all. I will honestly pay anything realistic for this game when it’s done. They are just doing everything historically accurate.
First I’ve heard of the story concept...it’s brilliant!!!
I'm glad other devs and companies are recognizing how awesome your project is and are helping out.
We'll be here when it comes out.
Good to see a video again, I am gonna tune in during the live video but it's on my birthday so I'll try, otherwise I will watch it at a later time. Good work guys! Thumbs up as always.
Can't wait for the stream!!!! I've watched all of them.
You guys are making my dream come true, so incredibly excited
