What's great about this series is it shows the younger crowd how to start at rock bottom and with time and effort how far you can get with minimal spend. I say keep going.
I want to see it roadworthy again! This is a cool series to prove that you can never just judge a book by its cover or count a car out. Do the basic stuff service wise underneath to make it right and leave the outside exactly as it is visually and then drive it. It needs to be at all the foxbody events! It’s so unique that it will get a ton of love with all that character and it’s instantly recognizable. Keep the series going please👍
This series is perfect for the teenager that saved up what he could and bought a Foxbody. Show how to go through it and must fixes to get it road worthy and semi safe. I think it’s great!
As a recent subscriber I’d really like to see you do the basic stuff underneath the car to make it safely roadworthy. Hope the journey continues with this one! 👍🏼
Love this, continue with this series! If you bring the Sh1tbox fox all the way back to a nice street car quality, I think it'll be the greatest revival story of the channel. You're also motivating others to keep improving their 50s, good luck!
As one that is seasoned in the Mustang crowd (1998 GT original owner) but new to this foxbody game, I am in favor of a mild restore of this fox. Reason being, I just acquired a fox back in DEC2022, and currently on the path of a mild restoration. I think that would help a lot of us see a more practical journey and process rather than seeing something that looks “already built”. The fun is in the journey. Love the channel. Subbed
I think it would be cool to keep the outside looking like it is for now and maybe go all out on an engine bay refresh/repaint. Whatever you decide to do I don’t really care. I’m just excited to see your next video whatever it is!!
Fix it. I'm an evo guy, but seeing this gives me hope on getting into Fox's satisfying that with a little work, time tricks, and tips, we can have a running gem💯
Absolutely! Do the parts that you said to do to make it safe for driving and drive it! Keep the old paint, but get the old wheel of right rear. Soon as I can and could I would love to get me an old "SHITBOX" to fix and do the same thing to Daily Drive!! Love the channel buddy!
Make a series on this build. Do all that stuff you just listed and do the interior and make it a street machine. This is one of the coolest build I seen I. Your channel
This fox is so cool as it is now . I think you should keep it the way she came . Get it running right and take it out to shows . Thanks for the dope videos 🔥can’t wait for the next one
Said it b4. I would love to watch it get fixed up. But then again, I'm a fox aficionado. Do I believe ALL should be saved? No. But I think this one has great potential and should be given a second chance at life.
Paint jobs are so exspensive right now i think it turns everyone off when thinking about buying a fox that looks rough or needs a respray. The patina look is big on the c10s and cars of the 60s and 70s. Gives the car character and everyone walking by is ganna wonder wtf happened to it and what the story is. I like the idea of a build with rough on the outside and everything new underneath show people that you can still make a great car from somthing that was sitting in a field. Youve already showed what a drop and nice set of wheels can do as far as looks goes
That car is cool af I love that's its not perfect but you ad high end parts to it plus the black interior is in good shape I'd like to see maybe a engine build with a power adder maybe proper suspension but keep the same slammed look
For that lug nut. Go to O'Reilly or Napa and get a tube of sil-glyde. It is heat proof and waterproof. I use it to lubricate all the slides on calipers. But if you use it to put it around the hole on the wheel nice and thick, you can torch the nut off without damaging the wheel. It won't even leave the burn mark. But you have to have a blue flame and be quick.
I like it as is. Fix it up underneath and make it road drivable. I love the way it looks as is. I am jealous because I have a 93 4banger I just had painted for $4000 and you found a gem for $1000. Lucky. Lol
It is a running and driving mustang, and I think it should be restored. That was one of the cars to drive when I was in high school, College from the Mid 80s to the early 90s.
Another great video. I cant put my finger on why, but I really like the SBF. It would be sweet to see it fixed up (to a point) and rolling into Motorcity Fox Fest! But I can understand where the ROI might not be there.
I vote to keep going and take it to foxfest...obviously a lot of parts and work lies ahead to make that happen but if you approach it like this...anything you buy for this car is temporary. Any of those parts can and will be applied to another future fox project. This one is special because its a true display of how looks can be deceiving and an example of how something can go from dormant to very usable for very little money if landed in the right hands and it would also be a great asset for the channel to make more content if you made the trip in the shitbox fox. I'm all for it...for me it always ends up being the cars with the most character that are hands down the most fun/interesting.
I like the Sh!tbox, but I'm partial to a project fox. It's fun to see you fix it up, but not too much, which is a difficult balance sometimes! I vote to do the maintenance items you mentioned for a couple more videos and get it roadworthy. I guess it depends on what stage of the project your friend wants to take ownership of the car lol!
Worth keeping for sh!ts and giggles but I do agree with some of the comments about restoring the drivability of the car to enjoy it as a beater but I can see some profit being made from it, absolutely hilarious seeing you use that big screwdriver to turn on the ignition 😂
I would leave the patina… all your other foxes are mint paint wise so I’d leave this one lookin beat up but that’s just me. I think it looks sick w the ROH’s
I think that's good enough on that car... It's cool i enjoyed it but i think we all understand where the car could go if we throw enough money and parts at it. Unless you turned it into a drift car or a track focused car. You have already many badass street cars on the channel.
How the hell do you pay 1k for a car that runs better than mine 🤣. If it was mine then my "parts" car would end up back on the road again but I know that's probably not your plan. Great video. Have a great weekend brother!
Your vacuum leak was probably the source of your starting issue. It has aftermarket rails and an aftermarket regulator. Pump is probably aftermarket also. Sounded like timing was very advanced on startup.
I know you've junked some other Foxes cause they're in Bad Shape, but it still hurts to see them go. Why not start the "Rat Rod" theme with Foxes, call it "Rat Fox" Maybe it'll catch on and someone else could enjoy it instead of going off to Fox Heaven, Just a Thought. Love the Channel and keep up the great work. 💪💪
You have all those parts cars, just pull the parts from those. I think that it would make a great beater car and one that would cause a lot of talk at shows!
If this is an original GT, it's worth saving--no one's making any more of them. Had I the garage space, I'd use that spaghetti as an excuse to pull the dash, get a good ground, wire the fuel pump into the oil pressure gauge (so it shuts off when pressure drops)and replace the heater core while pulling the engine out of the way to check the wiring on the opposite side of the firewall and tackle any issues on the engine (I think the neomustang channel has a video on rebuilding an A9 computer?). finding out if a cylinder is firing is easy, either pull spark plug wires one at a time or use an infared temp gun on the header primaries. but that's my opinion and you asked :)
Keep the exterior looking the way it does and make the engine bay and interior and get the mechanical all fixed. keep it and drive it to shows and around town.
Man, this car is pretty rough. Makes me feel a little better about my 90 GT. I did see where you mentioned the fuel pump not cutting off. I'm actually having the same issue with my car, but it doesn't start all of a sudden. I've checked almost everything except the ECU. Running the A9L.
Love the series. There are hundreds if not thousands of these ol FOXs lying around across America. They are just waiting for some foxbody fan to create his own shitbix. 😄
Very cool, it seems to be running pretty damn good, those shitty one piece headlights you to took out of the last project, they would look right at home in the sh!tbox Fox.
No doubt the car is rough AF but I just can’t say tear it down. Look at it this way, look what you’ve already accomplished and the difference it’s made. Maybe don’t take it to perfection(like usual) but get it to a point that maybe someone else could enjoy it and be proud of it or they can put their on spin on it as long as it runs, drives and stops then the new owner could take it from there
So asking a question I'm not sure of this myself ..what about IAC mounted upside down I've always seen them mounted with the plug at the bottom could that effect the check engine light
Don’t let the story end there. Keep the series going. Love the shitbox
Mines was a shytbox fox at one time too..nows it's a show car...don't strip it...fix it..
What's great about this series is it shows the younger crowd how to start at rock bottom and with time and effort how far you can get with minimal spend. I say keep going.
I say rebuild it . I think it will be an awesome series to see this come back to life . I’d be tuned in for sure.
351w swap
I want to see it roadworthy again! This is a cool series to prove that you can never just judge a book by its cover or count a car out. Absolutely

Totally do road worthy fixes. More content is always good. Every Fox deserves a chance.
Roll with it and keep fixing would love a series I got my own project fox and love to learn some more about them
Love this, continue with this series! If you bring the Sh1tbox fox all the way back to a nice street car quality, I think it'll be the greatest revival story of the channel. You're also motivating others to keep improving their 50s, good luck!
Keep it going!! Nice to see a budget friendly build. Love the look. No paint needed.
As one that is seasoned in the Mustang crowd (1998 GT original owner) but new to this foxbody game, I am in favor of a mild restore of this fox. Keep this content coming!!! Absolutely love this series... Glued all the way through.
Fix it. I'm an evo guy, but seeing this gives me hope on getting into Fox's satisfying that with a little work, time tricks, and tips, we can have a running gem💯

Soon as I can and could I would love to get me an old "SHITBOX" to fix and do the same thing to Daily Drive!!
Love the channel buddy!
Please continue with it. Id like to see what it's gonna take to get that wheel off also.
Make a series on this build. Do all that stuff you just listed and do the interior and make it a street machine. This is one of the coolest build I seen I. Your channel
I love the Sh1tbox-Fox! Keep it going! I've enjoyed seeing the troubleshooting and the progress you've made!
This fox is so cool as it is now . I think you should keep it the way she came . Get it running right and take it out to shows . Thanks for the dope videos 🔥can’t wait for the next one
i would love to see the series on the fox keep going, rebuild it
I would love to see you restore it. I was bummed out when the burnt vert was not restored and this brought back memories. ❤❤❤
Please keep it going. I love the shit box series. Fix it up and get it roadworthy!! It makes great content too!
Id definitely rebuild it be a good series to watch
Great content with this one. Keep it going, make it road worthy
Whatever you end up doing, just make sure you're still having fun with it, or else it's just work. Great video
Said it b4. I would love to watch it get fixed up. But then again, I'm a fox aficionado. Do I believe ALL should be saved? No. But I think this one has great potential and should be given a second chance at life.

I would love to see the looks u would get driving it down town.. hell I would lol
I would love to own that car. Its not perfect but neither am I. Cool find and neat how you drug it off a ranch in the sticks and got it running.
This is a cool build project. Could bring the Chanel to a new level. I would use all of your ok parts to fix it on the cheap
Send it ! Definitely shows the younger crowd how we use to fix these up back in the day. Hope to see you at motorcity fox fest.
That car is cool af I love that's its not perfect but you ad high end parts to it plus the black interior is in good shape I'd like to see maybe a engine build with a power adder maybe proper suspension but keep the same slammed look
Rebuild it !! Make the interior/engine bay look new rebuild the entire drive train keep the exterior as is this car has a really cool look to it
Another good video, I always enjoy seeing you work and you don't mind getting dirty.
Thanks!
Keep it going. A cool budget project and fun.
Thanks for sharing this build 🤙🏾

Definitely worthy of getting it on the road, car has character for sure ❤
It is a running and driving mustang, and I think it should be restored. That was one of the cars to drive when I was in high school, College from the Mid 80s to the early 90s.
Definitely fix. Now that you know she runs and has good parts in it..keep going and just show up at Cars & Coffee with it 😀
Another great video. I cant put my finger on why, but I really like the SBF. It would be sweet to see it fixed up (to a point) and rolling into Motorcity Fox Fest! But I can understand where the ROI might not be there.

Great job Chris! You know I love beater Foxbody’s.
Haha you have this cars' long list brother
Chris, i say keep it on the road. fix it enough to be a fun road warrior and just enjoy without a full on resto
It was crazy when I replaced my ect sensor, car ran and idled so much better. I also believe it will throw a ce light as well
Dam your setup in the middle of nowhere is perfect. Y’all hiring I’m jealous lol
Please bring it back to life bud you’ve got something going here
AWESOME video! You have actually given the SBF some personality!
Worth keeping for sh!ts and giggles but I do agree with some of the comments about restoring the drivability of the car to enjoy it as a beater but I can see some profit being made from it, absolutely hilarious seeing you use that big screwdriver to turn on the ignition 😂
Keep it going start fixing it up show everyone that it can be saved
I love this! Keep going…low budget and use as many salvaged parts as you can. Leave the paint and body ratty. Make it road worthy for sure.
This is what you would more than likely get for $5k. If you got this for $1k, you got a helluva deal. Keep it going!
Save it!! Don’t overdue it, just make it a survivor!!
I am digging tbe post apocalyptic look it has..
I crying with the way you just pulled off the hood 😂
I would leave the patina… all your other foxes are mint paint wise so I’d leave this one lookin beat up but that’s just me. I think it looks sick w the ROH’s
I love this car, it's my personal favorite out of your whole collection.
I think that's good enough on that car... It's cool i enjoyed it but i think we all understand where the car could go if we throw enough money and parts at it.

Please rebuild it. Love the content!
I love that style mustang. Had one and sold it. Wish I didn't.
Keep it going for sure! Amazingly that sponge bob computer still works lol.
Be fun to drive around maybe to a show 👍
Def Fix! Loving the series!
you could always throw on the old one piece headlights and hide them behind the covers.
I like these type of "builds" vs over the top builds.
It was the computer. Starts every time now.
Keep it going it’s worth it sir….👍
I know you've junked some other Foxes cause they're in Bad Shape, but it still hurts to see them go.
Why not start the "Rat Rod" theme with Foxes, call it "Rat Fox"
Maybe it'll catch on and someone else could enjoy it instead of going off to Fox Heaven, Just a Thought. Love the Channel and keep up the great work. 💪💪
Bro. That car more fun the way it is.. that patina tells a story.. keep it the way it is f the haters..
Keep going give the foxbody some love.
You have all those parts cars, just pull the parts from those. I think that it would make a great beater car and one that would cause a lot of talk at shows!
As someone who doesn’t own a foxbody lol keep this series going for people like me 😂😂

Love the series. There are hundreds if not thousands of these ol FOXs lying around across America. They are just waiting for some foxbody fan to create his own shitbix. 😄
Fix it. I love store where you turn a car doomed for the scrap yard to making it awesome.
Very cool, it seems to be running pretty damn good, those shitty one piece headlights you to took out of the last
project, they would look right at home in the sh!tbox Fox.
Make it safe and drive it man ! That thing is killer ! Id take it as it sits
FIX IT! get the AC fixed though, for sure. Love that bumper grafting. too cool. Maybe restore the interior for comfort.
Recaros with some mesh headrests would look sick for sure
@The Infamous Project it's like a ripe rat-rod. You can't BUY that look, it takes years to earn it.
@@TheInfamousProject 💯 love those sit I think best seats out there
No doubt the car is rough AF but I just can’t say tear it down. Look at it this way, look what you’ve already accomplished and the difference it’s made. I think a rebuild with tractor paint will give it some pop!
Fix it get it on the road. Love the series.
Love the shitbox, keep it going man.
Fix!!! She's good a good heart 💯
The clutch switch not working is an automatic check engine light on these. The computer won't even let running diagnostics begin without that signal.
I agree with everyone else. Keep it going and get it back on the road but keep the rust and crust.
Financially it might not make sense to restore it. But does it make sense to do it for content??
I want to see it completely streetable but keep the exterior as $h!tty as it looks now. 👍👍
Bring back the T-TOP!! Please
Leave it rough looking it look bad ass asf
Long live the shot box!!!!
So asking a question I'm not sure of this myself ..what about IAC mounted upside down I've always seen them mounted with the plug at the bottom could that effect the check engine light
You're from Canada so I know you know this. This is for guys from warm climate. Not the hand held propane torch. The oxy-acytalene torches
Love the shitbox fox. Keep it living!
Completes your fleet or beautiful Foxbodys. Would it be worth changing out the harness? Sure you have plenty of them.
Ya I think I would
Build it for inspiration for us guys who are building the sh!tboxes! Some of us start with these (parts cars).
