Kip, I've missed your videos so much. I watched you constantly pre-transition and admired you because you were everything I wanted to be. I know life gets in the way and TH-cam might not be a priority anymore, but I wanted to say thank you. I'm 5 years on T now and living post-transition and thought of you. So glad I looked you up.
WintersTide! I read your comment when you posted it and instead of responding to you, I tried... several unfortunate times, to film a new vid with a big shout-out to you and everyone who left me such lovely comments. I should have known better. Thank you so much for the kind words and congrats on getting that T coming up on six years now! That's glorious news. I hope life is treating you well and you are staying safe and happy and healthy, along with everyone you love! Such strange times.
Yay, Kyp's back!! I can totally relate to your lethargic period. After my surgery (thank you for the Instagram comment btw) I felt disconnected and just...SLOW. Its got me a bit down and I hope getting back to the treadmill will help shake me out of it. Sometimes we go against our best interests for a period of time in order to perhaps push the limits, or maybe because of the disconnect. Good luck with everything.
Thanks Naaman! I guess it's only as hard as I make it for myself :P I've been doing well the past couple months and I'm feeling better. Hopefully that will motivate me to continue.
Food for thought...take it or leave it: You could take a break from T. It would at least give you consistency for a time and then restart it when your body isn't so resistant to it.
I've considered that. I also thought since I've been on T for several years now I wouldn't menstruate anymore but when I skip a shot for too long, that monthly visitor comes back with a vengeance >.>;
Hey Leanne B! This is not a good look for me, huh. Thanks for sending the love to my cats! They surely appreciated it :) I'm not sure what is wrong with me, I have tried to film an update since you posted your comment... Two years ago!! Gosh. Well, I do have some updates and I'm going to try to get my act together! I hope you are safe and have your health with you during this pandemic!
haha that's crazy, i've been feeling and not doing exactly what you're saying with my shots. now i have to ice the spot before each procrastinated shot
Oh, no way. That's a good idea! It's tough because on one hand, you mind wants it more than most of the things, but your body is fighting to not get jabbed by a slick metal pin... a bit of a conundrum!
Hey! I'm a transguy and I totally hear that about taking your T shot, I'm a little over a year on T. I plan on stopping T after another couple years so that helps me focus on why I'm taking it in the first place. Hope you make more videos, you're an inspiration. Thank you for all of the time and attention you have put into your TH-cam channel ❤✌🌱
Hey, really nice to see you back on the ol' youtube. I know that feeling of offness with being on/off T and not keeping track of it and that imbalance. Have you considered T gel? I don't know if its possible or feesable for you, but an option perhaps.
Hey Roadmapzach! I talked to my doctor last year and said I wanted to try a testosterone gel. For some reason I let her convince me to get patches instead. The biggest reason I put off my biweekly T shot is the fear of pain. I'm quite hairy, and the amount of pain I experienced daily, ripping those patches off, was enough to make me stop after a couple of weeks. I haven't gone back to talk to her about it since! It's also unfortunately much more expensive than the shots, as I'm sure you know.
@@kiptiff Well I am sorry I never replied to your reply! I am fortunate to live in England with the NHS so am in a place of priviledge where gel and injections costs me the same. You liking my reply seems to be at just the moment in my life where I needed to rewatch your video as where you were then is where I find myself now since switching to Nebido. Funny how the world works. Hope you are well. Take care 🙂
@@roadmapzach Ohhh, the Universe is always on time, isn't it. I'm uninitiated to Nebido. I just did a quick online look but I should do more research. Honestly, I still struggle to this day with my shots. Hahaha, such a pain. I hope you are finding ways to stay on schedule and also keeping safe and healthy and happy during these dismal days. The opening song is called Line of Fire by Junip. I can't remember how I stumbled upon the band but the album Line of Fire is on is full of other great songs and their music videos are wonderfully bizarre :)
i'm really bad at t-shots, i should be 3-4ish years by now but instead im about 8 months collectively. i can't do it myself, and i can't find a doctor whose willing to do it for me.
Finding a doctor to do it is very tough. They all see themselves as too busy to stop for four minutes and help someone out every 1-2 weeks. I am lucky to have my wife agree to do them, even though she also doesn't like it when it hurts. I used to have a friend do it. Maybe that could work for you.
So glad to see you again! Nice beardcut :) You look younger now. Kyp, make subtitles next time like for previous video. please) And where's Bria? P.S. Very beautiful song.
"Princess" Bria as she has informed me she's going by now, lives back in Guelph with my dad. She's an outdoor cat and I live next to a pretty busy road in Toronto; a bad combination in my books.
