Jax kept saying Sonny could not face him like a man but it was somehow acceptable for him to rig the cards against Carly. He was not a victim here. Brenda wanted Sonny to give up that life. If Carly had stayed with him, he certainly wouldn't have walked away from her, and none of this would be happening. This was not about his child's safety. vanessa seriously needs to win an emmy for the last several weeks. her emmy reel could be off the charts. she certainly hit her stride and is nailing each and every scene of her departure. from one i've seen of her most final scenes, they are her best work yet.
