The headers look great. It's a pity the underside of the Z has so much room for a dual exhaust, it made that rest of the system too simple/straight. Great for performance, but it doesn't look as curvy/organic as the headers. Pity you can't see any of it off the lift.
Inlet to inlet and outlet to outlet is standard hydraulic plumbing. Good thing there's an internal relief valve in the pump or you would've had oil everywhere.
Please don't be afraid to have swaps like these be put into multiple videos or even a very long one. It's always such a joy to watch you guys. Keep it up man. I love watching the content you all make! 😁
this was insanely impressive to see be done, and shoutout to yall for making it entertaining and informative at the same time. Gotta show a video doing a test drive and other future modifications, it looks beyond beautiful and sounds like heaven
10:00 In short, the 350z pedal should work just fine. In more detail: There will be no difference in the information the ECU sees/needs between the 350z or Hellcat pedals. DBW pedals have what is essentially the same as 2x Throttle Position Sensors in them. This is industry standard. They are just potentiometers (a device that varies resistance when rotated) that are used to create a voltage divider circuit (a voltage scaled in between the given high and low voltage). These have a 5V and 0V reference and give the ECU voltage in between those two that correlates to the position of the pedal (pressed / not pressed / somewhere in between). The reason there are two is for safety/redundancy. If one says not pressed and the other says floored, that's a problem. Which sensor is true? Safest thing is to give an error and do nothing. The Holley will allow you to calibrate both sensors for 0% and 100% pedal position / commanded throttle and the in between is linear. It will then have a calibration program that it will run on the throttle body to find 0% and 100% throttle opening. Then there will be a table for correlating pedal position to throttle opening which allows you to make low throttle drivability a bit nicer (more pedal movement at low % for less throttle opening so it's not so twitchy in parking lots), and usually a few others for things like opening rate and PID settings for how well it follows commanded position, which are more tuner level settings.
damn guys just stumbled upon your channel and love how clean that 350 looks esthetically and the engine is the icing on the cake great fabrication work as well keep up the great work
Bro, love y’all’s content. It probably better insurance to prime the engine by taking the spark plugs out to kill the compression and turn it over for like 10 seconds, then checking the oil filter for oil.
I always wanted to get a 350 or 370 to get into drifting at my local track…But a Hell-Z would be a gift from the car gods❤I can’t wait to see it melt some tires…Awesome build guys🤙🏼
Had the same thing happen to me on a V8 swapped Conquest I put together, instructions for the oil relocation kit read the same way and I interpreted it the same way you guys originally did!
Watched the video, checked the likes its on 14k,oh well Fernando get ready for more work :) Great work guys loved the video.Looking forward to next one.Cheers
one of my friends had the same problem with oil pressure. he had the inlet in the outlet and outlet in the inlet lol. we swapped it over and it was good
We’ve got guys out here getting millions of views for doing stupid ass boring daily vlogs. Or posting up 2 street races. And we’ve got scrap life garage literally bringing cars back to life. You need more subs
yo this is the first time i stumbled on yall profile and omg i love yall, you took my favorite drift car and my favorite drag car and put em together and i can't wait to see videos on it ripping. im currently in the process of looking for a mechanic school but i have no idea what path in college i should choose to learn what you guys are doing, if you can guide me to know which i should i sign up for please let me know. i have liked and subscribed and about to go binge watch what else you guys have hellcat swapped.

Your header fabricator is ridiculously talented!! 😳😳
His voice sounds exactly like this TH-camr I watch who has a boosted z. Had me trippin for a sec the way they speak is almost identical too.
that exhaust system is a work of art, dude is extremely talented

I love looking at the fab side of car building videos, dudes know how to work a torch like no other
Your so right
I agree!!
Theoretically... this could totally be one of the worlds first hellcat drift cars... I'd be so fuckin amped to see it happen
Naaaa that guy that fabricated the headers is the fkn goat, bring him to the team man. Extremely talented
Guy that fabricated the exhaust does some outstanding work. Quite possibly the nicest part of the car imo.
Somebody is finally gonna make a 350z sound good!

Oh my lanta, the sound of this beauty is a symphony.
Inlet to inlet and outlet to outlet is standard hydraulic plumbing. Good thing there's an internal relief valve in the pump or you would've had oil everywhere.
You learn something new every day!

To this day idk why this channel isn’t at least at 2mil in subscribers
The bend in the hoses to the heat exchanger is atrocious
i had to go outside and smoke after i saw it
Looks like they ran them longer at the end when they were doing oil pressure work
@@Sixpointtwoliter I saw that in the end. I figured they would. He commented on it as soon as he saw it lol
You guys should have 2mil + subscribers by far the best car channel on TH-cam
Crazyest built I had seen on TH-cam. What a work of art

That sounds mean AF! Nice job!
Great swap guys! Making it look really easy too!

7:00 the welding skill is immaculate 😮💨

Fernando needs a company to give him a cam and tell him now you have to install it with springs and retainers lol 😂😂

To be fair, that P1 is a whole different animal
You guys the best 🎉
