"That's why you should go through the mazes multiple times," So true! I went through Graveyard Games in 2019 and it wasn't until my 2nd walkthrough of the maze that I understood and got to appreciate/witness the full story. It ended up being my favorite original house of 2019!
7:28 the IP mazes you know what it's gonna be but sometimes they put their own Twist on it like Poltergeist in Orlando starting in the Pool & going underground into the house & then going into the light as opposed to in sequence like Hollywood did
Yeah, it is fun. But after about a week or two, you’re just gonna see it like any other normal job. There isn’t really that much special stuff about it. If you really love universal, I promise you, never work there. It just ruins the experience and you’ll never want to go there again after that. I loved universal so much as a kid and I worked there for a summer job, after that, I never went there again, because the behind the scenes of it takes away that experience

Unfortunately, as it goes, there is some information for certain houses or certain years that are missing or not as fleshed out, due to it being lost to time. (As an example, there is no concrete information out there about The Slaughterhouse house from HHN 3-- the house often cited as "the goriest, most intense house in HHN history" because, for whatever reason, it's been lost to time. In fact, there is more information out there about 2006's never built house where it was some kind of intense obstacle course, over The Slaughterhouse.)

@@robman7109 With the R.I.P. Tour you had to have a regular park ticket, a Halloween Horror Nights Ticket and. R.I.P Tour ticket. It was about 3 or 4 hundred dollars. I felt it was worth it because you got through all 10 houses in one night. The tour took about 4 hours. They call it a tour because you have a tour guide take you into the houses. You have breaks in between for bathroom breaks and refreshments. The R.I.P. Tour ticket has top priority over any other ticket! The lines on Halloween night last year was INSANE!!! I was so glad I purchased that ticket. I had one day at Universal and the rest of our time was spent at Disney. My first time there as well.
Puppet is basically confirmed, however we aren't sure if Brides and Toothfairy will be reused. I sort of doubt it but we'll see. For BJ they would have to keep the rights and I don't think it's happening. That's why [redacted] in [spoilers].

Don't like horror movies, not crazy about being scared but this event is absolutely wonderful. They only talk about the haunted houses but there is so much more. Love the live shows and all the characters walking around. Level of detail is amazing. Miserable to have missed it this year but I'll be there next year.
I'd love more deep-dive videos like this - ones that show the makeup, props, and just overall behind-the-scenes of our beloved HHN!! It's the sole reason I return again, and again to HHN! That sense of being IN "movie magic" and seeing all the new props, costumes, makeups, and transformations of the park. Love it. Also, over the years I've noticed this "hidden narrative" revolving around the Universal Vampires - it was hinted at again with this year's "The Bride". Can anyone confirm if there's some kind of "inside continued story"?
Did anyone notice on the shelf when they were looking at masks there were the Skeleton Witch and Pumpkin masks? Extremely similar to Halloween 3 Season Of The Witch... i doubt it would happen but with those masks there i can’t help but wonder

The Fiend from WWE needs a HHN maze. maybe even a “horrors of wrestling” house, throw in the undertaker, Kane, the boogeyman, Mankind, Bray Wyatt. I’d be so hype
they did have one in the second event they ran based on the undertaker, would be cool to see a wwe partnership return, although with their target demo i doubt it. we can dream though 😅
Hhn is the one and only most important halloween celebrations on the planet.. it is a 2 month halloween street party with all the fixings.. the one event every year I will not miss.. its more important than my birthday... THANK YOU universal for giving us this every year and we cant wait til it returns in 2021!! We fo appreciate the 2 houses you gave us this year it was extremely generous and we thank you... see you next fall! And cant wait!

I agree that original houses are so much more fun than IP houses. You can expect whats to come with IP houses but with originals, its a mystery! You dont know! I really hope that theres more original houses and icons comming. I think hhn should go back to their roots instead of riding on IPs to carry the event through. The event use to have more thought into them like their merch, websites, lore, etc. Lets hope that this year is a blast.

I have an idea for HHN: a Japanese looking palace where the scary folklore of Japan come out and scare you like the slit mouth lady and etc
The slit mouth woman is more modern folklore, though it will be very, very interesting seeing a take on ancient Japanese folklore.

Went to Halloween Horror Nights last year for the first time ever. We did the R.I.P Tour and it was SO awesome!!!
The rip really makes all the difference! We only managed to do all houses in one night without it once back during hhn25
