Next time you come to Boston, you have to come to Bova's. Modern Pastry is the better pastry place and Mike's is the more touristy place, but everyone knows that Bova's has the best cannoli game around.
This seems to be a fun filled city, I hope I can visit sometime in the future. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much!
Best cannolis are from Sicily! As that’s where they originated from. But of course, there are many excellent cannolis that are made in the USA.😊 authentic Sicilian cannolis always have been garnished with chopped pistachios at each end. That’s the true way to eat them. However, due to many people with nut allergies I really don’t see it like that anymore. Instead, they are garnishing with chocolate chips or nothing on it. But believe me the best way if you are not allergic nut is with pistachios.
Living in the St. Louis area w/an incredible Italian-American community & the amazing food that comes w/it, I don’t need to eat Italian food in Boston. From my perspective, that isn’t where I would be spending my money.
If you want to go to the best restaurant in Boston , go to Mare oyster bar in the north end , that is the best food and ambiance I ever been in my life !!!
You HAVE to try La Famiglia Giorgios for the best Italian in town next time you're in Boston. Plus Bova's Bakery for where all the locals go, and Belle Island Seafood.
This video is very helpful. My daughter will be attending a college in Boston this fall so will try out some of your recommended restaurants. You are fun to watch. Question- was this video made prior to covid? No one wore masks.
Thank you, Lydia ☺️ If you noticed, I placed a disclaimer at the beginning of this vlog stating this is from my archives due to pandemic travel restrictions. In any case, am excited for your daughter as am sure she’ll have an amazing experience 🙏🏼 All the best and take care!
This is very helpful. We will try the union oysters house. Hope we can find a parking lot nearby. I just wonder, don’t they have napkin nearby? Hope they do.
This was such a high quality video! I’m surprised you don’t have 10x the subscribers because you certainly deserve it :) planning to visit Boston so this was super helpful!
My partner and I are going to boston in the fall for the frist time. Thanks for this video you made all the places and foods look super good! Question is this video made before covid-19? I don't see alot of people wearing masks. :)
Yes I mentioned a disclaimer in the beginning of the video that it’s pre-covid ☺️ Fall is truly the best for me traveling anywhere and Boston is definitely up there so I’m so excited for you and your partner! Enjoy and safe travels 💛
Too bad it’s turned into what it has. I’m 80 yrs old now, but growing up Quincy Market was awesome. It was all outside market stands where you could get the freshest farm produce and so mo many other fresh foods. It’s where people shopped, it wasn’t a tourist thing.
It's always disappointing when tubers don't leave the tourist zone and push all the same tourist places. If you ever want a real tour, let me know. U made some mistakes Lol... Mama Maria is in the north end, not the west end. And mamma maria is literally a block away from the first place you reviewed (antico forno)and you said they are both the best Italian food in the neighborhood. There are like over 100 italian restaurants in the north end..... most are pretty good. Potato gnocchi is somehow the leftover donuthole from making wheat pasta. Lol... that makes no sense whatsoever. Gnocchi isn't leftover anything. It's is Own thing. Its a little ball of dough that they press with a fork to add a ridge. They can be made with no tooling hence the concept of it being poor man's pasta..
You have the worst restaurant claimed the best 😂😂😂 , you obviously don’t know anything about food , you need to stop doing all this , is not working !!! The lobster in the western union house is steamed just like they do for free in market basket 😂😂😂
Thanks for the suggestions. Looking forward to trying these on upcoming trip. On another note, Get rid of the Maoist hat, it’s not hip or cute. And to pose in a front of a picture of JFK while wearing it? 45 millions deaths under his leadership. Hopefully this is just ignorance.
Don’t go to Mikes bakery in the north end. The food is nasty the cannolis taste like chalk. And Mike who owns the place the gross and rude to women. He’s also overprice. I know this for fact because I’m from the north into Boston and I ran five restaurants in Boston
Very helpful video, thank you! This was the best Boston food guide I've seen
great vibes in the video, and great recommendations! Thanks for sharing!

Very informative and well composed. Thanks!
Thanks Noor! ☺️

You will not be disappointed when you visit Boston. Make it a history trip and a food trip mixed in.
Boston SUCKS i live here lmao
Giacomos is fantastic. Then over to Modern or Cafe Victoria. Cigars downstairs!

This video was super cute and helpful!!! 💖
You called the canoli caneloni , this proof how much you know about food 😂😂😂
Very helpful video, ill be there this upcoming October😊
What is the pasta at the first restaurant al dente? Because if it doesn’t unfortunately I cannot eat it. It certainly looks delicious though.

Someone so family oriented . Great informative video beautiful !
Boston is so pretty 😍
you have to go to Bova’s bakery in Boston. It’s even better than Mikes but i’ve never tried modern pastry
We are traveling in month of November. I wanted to ask about the weather is it already snowing ? or it's just cold.
It is mostly cold, But it could snow ❄ you never know
This is very helpful. We will try the union oysters house. Hope we can find a parking lot nearby. I just wonder, don’t they have napkin nearby? Hope they do.

We’re going on the fall as well!
Modern is the best, Mikes is for tourists. Bova’s has excellent cookies.
Don’t get gluten free!
Can you do a vegan episode?
Cannoli is plural for cannolo 😉
why you wear Communist Hat?
Because Rich trendy people use the suffering of others as fashion accessories
Beautiful...
Great food, nice tour. I lived in Somerville. Only thing is, loose the CCP hat.
What’s yummy and Italian Sophia Loren 40 years ago lol
Looks delicious. How do you keep your figure?!

@@pauldavid8445 your a weirdo
I wish the camera showed more food and less her, only because this is a food vlog.

Immediately stopped watching when I saw the hat. Never again.
